Make Fitbit app friendlier for blind and reading disabled

Ask the software developers before releasing to the Fitbit users to review all screens in the Fitbit applications and on the Fitbit website for used ability by those who are blind and reading disabled. Ask them to use screen reading software as part of the screen valueation specifically the number of swipes necessary to advance through the screens.

Before releasing a new version of the app or dashboard have the software developers use screen reading technology such as voiceover provided by Apple to ensure the software is friendly for the blind and people with reading disabilities. Information available for sided users is not always available for those who are blind or have reading disabilitie

This is so important for all users with disabilities and also older users with less good vision - I now can't see the HR on the watch. It is so important to have inclusive options.

Thank you to those who have voted and will vote for this suggestion. I have a degenerative eye disease which is caused me to go blind and have never seen the screen on my iPhone or the screen on my Fitbit tracker. The voiceover app provided by Apple on my iPhone is opened up my world. Prior to getting my Fitbit tracker I tended to be send Terry. The tractor and the challenges I am set for my cell have made me a more active person and I believe a healthier person.

Sent from my iPhone I am optimistic that the fit 15 Will consider my suggestion and that future versions of the Fitbit app Will be friendlier for the blind and reading disabled.

I have dictated this on my iPhone and I apologize for any difficulty in interpreting my message.

Update: I have not noticed any improvements related to disability access on the iOS application. The edit button which was removed in September 2021 is still unavailable. None of the issues I have a grasp within the community of been acted upon. And recently heart rate and cardio zone were removed as accessible field using Apple‘s voiceover screen reader. Heart rate in activity zone information has been an intra-goal part of my exercise routine and it is extremely frustrating not to have it available to me. Thank you to the Google Disability Support Team for listening and escalating my concerns  And I continue to hope that accessibility issues might someday be addressed by the Fitbit/Google software development teams.
