Make Google Wallet (formerly Fitbit Pay) require a pin every time

I am wondering if the Fitbit pay option can be set so that you have to enter a PIN number every time you make a payment and not just the first time. I work in retail and have realised that if my versa is near the scanner that we use to scan products and a person has purchased something I can accidentally pay for their products as I have had my versa vibrate on a couple of occasions but luckily I had not used it prior so it did require a pin ..not resulting in my paying for  their purchase.Had I already used my versa to pay say for my lunch and then had it near the scanner after I would have paid for their purchase as no pin would have been required....it is a safety issue I think

I removed the Pay app from mine to avoid the risk of accidental payments while there wasn't any security Olin place.

Agree that the pin should come on every time the fitbit pay is required to secure the user from making unnecessary unwanted payments when standing near the cashier scanner.

I agree. Having the option to set a pin for Fitbit Pay, which is requested each time a payment is made, is a necessary security feature.

Don't you first have to manually bring up your payment app, then you can hold it near the payment scanner if you want to pay? So, if you're working, your Versa wouldn't be in the payment app and you wouldn't be able to accidentally buy anything.

I believe an option should be created for those a bit untrustworthy of hackers being around. The digital era is quite new and there’s a lot of people out there looking to exploit it. My suggestion is very simple. For those who wish to use an option to use passcode every time they use Fitbit pay to feel more secure.

Totally agree with the suggestion. Fitbit shall take it seriously for implementation and email all users as soon as this PIN number defect is resolved. User privacy and security is top priority  subject that not require voting.

Please update the Fitbit Pay options to always ask for a security pin after you left the option..

For security reasons it should be set to ask for a pin every time. Specially while traveling overseas. The watch could be stolen and the problems will come with that option been available at all times.

FITBIT SHOULD MAkE OF THIS A PRIORITY OR NOT OFFERING THE OPTION AT ALL.
