Medical ID Wristbands/ICE (In Case of Emergency)

It would be a great idea to add the medical alert logo to the flex band in case of a medical emergency. Older adults today are living longer, more active lives than the generations before them. The medical alert symbol and information can be incorporated into a stylish watch or a bangle-type bracelet, among many other options.

Medical IDs give paramedics and health care providers a quick look at your medical history in an emergency. They usually include information about medical conditions, food or drug allergies, medical devices (such as a pacemaker), and medications. This data can also be in sync with your Smartphone.

Road ID.com sells tags to fit Fit Bit products.  Look past their own bands and you will find ones you can personalize for allergies, medical conditions, emergency contacts, etc.

Road ID makes medical alert add-ons for wearables.  My daughter and I use them.  https://www.roadid.com/c/FitnessTrackerIDs

I have been diagnosed with Antiphospholipid Syndrome in December 2015.

I am currently on warfarin for it.

I would like to suggest whether it would be possible to create a feature where medical information would be able to display on a fitbit product.

Currently I am wearing a fitbit flex 2 and a medic alert watch but eventually I would like to only need to wear one device rather than 2.

Many thanks for reading.

I was advised by one of the online chat staff to post this question.

Yes, I have been looking for a medical alert symbol fitbit. I have atrial fibrillation and as a nurse, would love to see this.  First responders look for it, as would I. I wear both fitbit and medical alert bracelet. Would love to see it combined in a band?  Thank you for listening.

medicalert on Fitbitmedicalert on FitbitI would also like a medic alert identifier for my Charge. I recently ordered a Garmin one on the Medicalert website but prefer to use Fitbit. So I took the identifier off the Garmin and put it on my Fitbit. I've had several people comment on it, even a few doctors. While this one works great I know it won't last forever. It's on one of those Swatch rubber things. I masked my personal information so you could see.

As a healthy person who spent a lot of unexpected time in ambulances recently, it would be great if there was a button that medics could hit and see our medic alert info and drugs.

This could also open a new market for you--the seniors.  It could potentially provide a link to their medical records.

You don't have a Fitbit which includes a Medic Alert band or bracelet? I have the Fitbit HR. I think that it would be extremely helpful in an emergency.
I would prefer to have a combination band instead of wearing two bands.
I would appreciate your response to this.

If there isn't a way to show ICE information (In Case of Emergency) on the Blaze, there should be.  It seems like the ICE and medical information that is easily accessible on my iphone should be able to display on my Blaze.  Thanks.

My husband is diabetic, and hates wearing a medical alert necklace and most bracelets are tacky as well.  He wears his Fitbit Flex band, as he gets points with his medical insurance for walking.  My thought is having a Fitbit Flex band that is also a medical alert band as well. Something with a small medical alert symbol on it somewhere.

I would love to have a medic alert option for ALL fitbits.  I have Cystic Fibrosis and have multiple drug allergies.  I get hounded all the time about wearing a medical alert however, i hate them.  they are ugly and not very practical.  Most are huge and just tacky.  I'm not a big jewelry wearer but live with my fitbit on 24/7 having a medical alert wristband would be a life saver and would be just amazing.  PLEASE consider making this.  PLEASE

wanted to know if fitbit could make medical id tags for the bands. Example -

Peanut algy.
Sulfa algy.

PCN algy.
I wear my fitbit all the time and it would be nice to have this information on the band and not have to wear a medical alert bracelet too.
Thank you for your help in this matter

Would love to see Fitbit develop a line of Medical Alert slides, charms, or bands.  My grade school son has a deadly allergy to tree nuts.  I have spent a fortune on medical bracelets....he refuses to wear them because he gets picked on and made fun of. However, he wears his Fitbit Alta to school everyday...I am positive a simple charm or medical alert band that is Fitbit compatible would be a solution to our concerns!

I was thinking of getting a tattoo because I didn't want to wear the ugly medic-alert jewelry plus my fitbit.  Please just make a band I can personalize with emergency info like the medic-alert.  I can think of MANY medical conditions that this would be great for!

The ubiquity of Fitbit now makes it obvious to me that having a customizable medical alert band for the assorted models that have replaceable bands is a great choice. I'm type 1 diabetic, but also work in a hospital in Oregon, it is not an exaggerated to say that 90% of the staff and around 60% of patients and visitors have a Fitbit, and of those patients with them, many need to also wear a medical alert bracelet, which really limits options on jewelry to wear to compliment an outfit. Use Bend or Portland, Oregon as a test market and I swear it'll take off.

Please look into medical Id sliders for the fitbit. I wear my fitbit all the time and would like not to have to wear my mecial id bracelet also. Look into a slider or a charm that can be added the the fitbit band.

I found something similar to a medical id for a fitbit alta band. You pick what info you want it to say, I was able to put my name, my emergency contact, allergies, medicines, and the name of my disease on it!

any way to make a sticker with individual medical issue symbol similar to a med alert bracelet, that one can put on a fit bit band.  My teen has type 1 diabetes and instead of wearing the ugly med alert bracelets he always wears his fit bit. If you can design a sticker that you can place ont he band of the fit bit to alert others it would be great.  I would buy a bunch of stickers!

Agreed 100% with u Brenda

i had been given a FitBit Surge as one who was diagnosed with Parkinson Plus - possible Lewy Body Disease.

i use Fitbit to track my heart rate and no of steps/exercise a day with water consumption.

Like to see Fitbit to override when I fall or my heart rate went over or below the heart rate threshold. With alert on the watch with info

of my health conditions, medications and National Health ID.

Would be great if FITBIT added a Health Alert or Help Alert app to advise EMT or others of location or need for emergency help.

I recently had a pace maker implanted and needed to update my medical ID bracelet.
I would like to display my medical alerts , medical reactions, pace maker, ect.; things that are listed on a medical ID bracelet on my fitbit

these could be edited and modified by the owner. as changes occur.
Also add a medical ID alert symbol to the band so the first responders would realize this is a medical ID bracelet.  they are trained to look for this information on a necklace and either wrist
