Meditation Tracker within the Fitbit app

Meditation Tracker. Would nice to track sessions and see how much the heart rate slows down. Could also be part of the "challenges" section.

Hi @mortonboots, thanks for explaining why you would like to have the option to see a Meditation Tracker on Fitbit devices. I've moved it into a similar suggestion which has been updated as "Under Consideration". You can learn more about it here. I hope to see you around.

I would like to be able to manually log my meditation sessions without having to use one of your guided meditations

Same here! Would very much like to manually log my own mindfulness for the same reasons you listed.

Lots of comments requesting integration with the Calm App, which is preference, but I would be happy to manually log if I can't have integration...

When I manually log a meditation it should count towards my mindfulness session goal. It currently doesn't. The only way to achieve the goal is to do one of the canned sessions available in the app. It basically is forcing me to subscribe to premium just to access the sessions, when I could do and log meditation and breathing on my own.

I'd just like to +1 the idea above of a "Meditation" workout type for the Inspire 2 et al. Guided breathing with the Relax app is great and guided meditations are interesting but my existing meditation practice involves sitting in silence. Currently I use the stopwatch to time my session and manually record that time, but if I could log those sessions as easily as a bike ride, for example, I would benefit from that every day.

Hi all, new user here.

The Fitbit app has let me log an exercise activity of "mediation" but this doesn't show up in my mindfulness tracker?

Have I missed something here or is this still being worked on?

I use ten percent happier, calm and sometimes YouTube for guided meditations. So being able to log my mindfulness is important to me. Is there any plans in the near future for this to be added?

-Add a health/ medical log so that people with medical conditions such as asthma, migraines, GI issues and sleep problems can analyse how their condition could be effecting or effected by sleep, food intake, exercise, health stats. They could also use a scale to measure daily pain and a medicine usage log, to improve users experience.

With apologies but this reply refers to tracking "Medications"

As users we're seeking being able to individually track "Meditations" (VERY
DIFFERENT) within the mindfulness section of the app.

I may choose to meditate by myself, but the Fitbit app prevents us from
logging this as anything other than an activity/exercise.

I would love to have my Fitbit Sense track my daily Meditation sessions. A plus to have my ECG measured.

Would like Fitbit Sense to track and log our Meditation sessions

I regularly use the Headspace app so would like to be able to manually add my meditations rather than be forced to use yours for it to be recorded.

I understand that Fitbit considers this to be a released feature (https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Suggestions/Ability-to-log-Meditation/idi-p/1814931), I would suggest either opening up the meditation log so you can log meditations on your own, sync with other meditation apps & have sessions logged there, or have a habit tracking tile.

I practice mindfulness every single day yet i cannot tell fitbit that because fitbit only allows us to use their chosen meditation tracks - which i am not a fan of. This is weird to have a mindfulness tracker yet not allow us to manually log in our minutes. No zen person set this up.

I practice qigong daily. It is less of a workout than a combination of gentle stretching, deep breathing, and mindfulness. I would love the ability to track something like this via some form of a meditation tracker. Would be wonderful to see heart rate and SpO2 (and wishlist: EDA) data for it as well.
