Hello Fitbit Team!

after a message of one of you moderator i have decided to make that topic.

I really like you products but the people using an IOS device really need more notifications!

So please give us more! 😃

Notificions i would recommend:

E-Mail

Whats App

Facebook 

and more messaging apps

+1 for WhatsApp notifications on Charge 2 with an iPhone. This would be a deciding factor for purchasing the Charge 2.

Whatapp notificaitons are the only notifications I receive. I was so sad to learn that iOS notifications are stuck to normal calls and SMS. 

PLEASE bring Third Party app notifications to FItbit Blaze. The fact I could receive onscreen notifications was the reason I purchased this fitness tracker above the competing brands, and now I'm starting to wonder if I made the right decision.

Just received the firmware upgrade which enabled third party notifications and new watch faces. Would like to thank Fitbit for listening to their customers. Fitbit Blaze is now perfect for me.

Android users have Whatsapp and other notifications.

I am okay with the difference in Dashboard (UI) but feature-wise / functionality-wise there should be no difference between Android and iOS.

Take this feedback seriously instead of focusing on smaller things.

I agree with most of the users here. I am also thinking did I take the right decision by purchasing Fitbit instead if Apple watch. 

What should be done for "firmware upgrade" (to get whatsapp notifications, etc. and get upgrades)?

If Surge can display the following notifications from all platforms (iOS, Android, Windows), it will dominate the Indian Market through and through:

• WhatsApp
• Email
• Facebook
• Instagram
• Call
• SMS

Would like to have ability to select notifications from multiple sources, not just one or the other. In my case, I have android and I would like to receive whatsup notifications along with SMS, and Google hangouts, email as well. Thanks.

I agree.  We paid a fortune for the surge and it doesn't have all the bells and whistles other companies top dollar fitness trackers have.  You need to keep up to date.

Indeed! Please add more chatting apps into the notification list and give users the option to opt the ones that they do not want to get notifications from. Top chat apps that I would strongly suggest to be included in the notification:

WeChat

Whatsapp

Facebook Messenger 

I am using Flex2 and it only suppots call and text right now.
