More badges (Add badge ideas here!)

Need more creative badges and trophies rather than just the lifetime records... that could be more motivating.

Here are a few ideas:
- Badge for reaching 10000 steps for 7 days in a row, 15 days in a row, 50 days in a row...
- Badges based on active minutes/calories/kilometers
- How about some more crazy/funny badges like "night owl" for someone who regularly achieves a lot of steps at night, "out of bed" (same principle but for early morning), etc.
- Badges that reflect poor activity; for instance a badge if you don't reach 10000 steps/day once in 7 days, ...

I think that these are all ideas that could really enrich the experience of fitbit users by increasing motivation and I believe they are all relatively simple to implement in the Fitbit system!!

That's the main goal of a Fitbit. To get people out and moving on a regular basis. It only makes sense to reward people for consecutive days of any goal!

It seems to me that the whole point of having a Fitbit is to help encourage you to get out and move on a regular basis! So why not offer badges and challenges for the most consecutive days reaching a goal. They say we need a minimum of 10,000 steps a day to be "healthy" , i know it's more complicated than that, but why not encourage the longest streaks of healthy behavior? And help us push others to do the same?

Need more stair badges pl. Last Saturday 16th July was the South Downs 100 mountain biking event. 12,7000 feet of climbing. Anyone who finished will have done over 1000 flights of stairs. Fitbit only calibrates to 700 a Rainbow badge. Please can you amend and give us a 10000 stairs badge. Call it the South Downs Way. Can you then send it to all who reached that target. Think you should then go up in increments of 250 after. Thankyou in advance.

Cool idea! This year I have done at least 5,000 steps every day. I had one month of at leat 15,000+ steps every day. Would be cool to see "streaker" badges!

My friend, who doesn't own a fitbit, played Pokemon Go on his dayoff, reached level 10, my daughters followed suit. They love it, it's addictive. There's possible competition for you guys. SO....

I wonder why your company doesn't spend more effort in creating more badges, after aprox. 5 pages of posted badge requests? It's not that hard to do. I could draw you lots of pictures in one day.

Instead of coming up with new fitbit bracelets that I can't afford, how about making some badges. There are so many cities after the Russia badge... thousands of miles till the next one,"around the world badge". It's rather sad.

I'm not a climber; I like walking my dog twice a day. I like collecting badges, somewhat like a girlguide does. I was one for 1 year, so long ago. I look forward to seeing some pro action

It'd be great to see how many miles or flights of stairs are needed to get the next badge for lifetime miles and lifetime floors. It's a great motivator especially when you're so close to getting a new badge. I'd love to see something like that on the dashboard for the app.

Last year I spent a lot of time walking across Europe. I thought to myself wouldn't it be cool to collect badges that show you've been active all around the world.
Not only would they represent memories but they would be a excellent motivator for people visiting cities .

In addition, It would be amazing if some events were logged with fit but sometimes so that if you took part in a marathon you would get a completion badge something to show for your efforts.

I hope people like and support this idea.

Thanks for reading.

Just got home from spin & Pilates with only 1,000 steps Fitbit tells me. There needs to be a challenge based on calorie burn - for things like lifting, spin, Pilates, etc.

Hi Team,

From 990 miles to 1600 miles seems like a long way to go without any encouragement😊

Would be great to have a 1250 miles badge!

Cheers

Tomorrow is my 1 year anniversay and I agree a badge would be great.  I would share that one with my friends on my fit bit challenges.

I went for 1 year 5 months without missing a day! Never any response from Fitbit. Unfortunately, my streak stopped on July 16 when I broke my foot!
Keep walking!

I just got my London Underground badge, and really enjoy how these are interesting trivia distances of places.

However, many of these distances are extremely far apart for those of us who just walk.  It would be great to see more badges that ensure that you feel it is achievable to get the next badge.

And, like many others, I'd love to see a little progress bar, helping us to stay motivated!

I've got a new idea for a distance badge. The Proclaimers badge which would be achieved when you have walked 1000 miles. As the song goes, "I would walk 500 miles and I would walk 500 more."

This is clearly not a new suggestion but one you have ignored for at least a year. Why did you stop at 35000, and why no explanation. It can't be difficult to script this, surely 35001 and beyond is no different from the existing badges.

I think we all appreciate the boost that comes with receiving a hard-earned badge.
Along with the lifetime totals that accumulate over time, it would be nice to see badges for a full week, month, season, & year (and so on) as well as additional celebrations for 50 or 100 straight days of hitting 10K+ per day.
As well as the Fitbit folks do w/their creative badges, I think it would be neat to see a June or July steak - or Winter, etc.

Last Friday was my 366th straight day of hitting my steps goal. How cool would a "Walk Around the Sun" be?

Since we are nudged each day to shoot for 10,000+ steps, I think streak-related badges would be a nice addition.

Thanks!
