More clock/watch faces for the Charge 3!

So, the Charge 3 is out and there is a huge let down:

There are only 5 clock/watch faces:

Come on Fitbit...at least include all the Charge 2 watch faces too. We all loved the Charge 2 watch face with the time, date and the highlighted feature (steps/heart rate etc.)

Whats missing:

- Faces with the actual DATE and DAY

- Faces with a DIGITAL SECONDS TIMER

Or to say it again, just include the Charge 2 watch faces. Thanks in advance.

I rarely log into forums to address issues but I couldn't pass this one up. I have used the Charge 2 since it came out and loved the clock faces on it. More to the point, I love being able to flip my wrist and see the actual calendar date with day of the week. So it was shocking and disappointing to say the least, to discover that my new Charge 3 doesn't have a clock face with a calendar date/ day of the week or a clock face with seconds (which I believe is also important when tracking distances in time). I see that there are already many comments on this post suggesting that Charge 3 users have the capability to use Charge 2 clock faces. Well, I'll add my two cents here and agree with that suggestion. Please push an update to the Charge 3 to include at least Charge 2 clock faces or some new clock faces for Charge 3 with more options to include calendar date, day of the week, and hour, minute, seconds with regard to time. Thanks.

Wow.  The clock faces are a real disappointment.  I hope they can quickly get some of the old Charge 2-style clock faces added to make this more usable for us!

Came across this thread when googling Charge 3 Watch Faces because I couldn't believe that there were only these 5 available.
Please add more faces. I'd settle for one with the date. I'd be ecstatic if there was one that included current weather (current temp with an icon of rain/cloud/sun) as well.

It will take more than that because of the company's strong balance sheet. I wish the company had much less cash so they take our concerns seriously.

I wouldn't return the watch over missing date. This is an easy fix. Just wait for it. My main reason for holding off is to see whether the tracker is as accurate as Charge 2.

My best suggestion to Fitbit is to pre-release the tracker to a select group of users, say 1000 or so, and fix all of these minor issues by the time it is released to the public. They announced the release August 20, almost seven weeks before the release date. This is plenty of time to fix small issues based on feedback.

Now every time a tracker comes out the reviews are terrible. You can have a great functional tracker but the band is too small, or date is missing. These issues are nothing compared to the overall device but it tarnishes its reputation. Now I have to sort through each review to see whether I should bother with Charge 3 or (reluctantly) get Versa. I need to get another one because of poor battery, after 18 months of constant use.

Will they add it though? They never added a new watch face to Charge 2. Ever.

Mine is going back. I’d rather have access to a library of watch faces with Versa. They should have take the time to adapt 10-20 band faces for Charge 3 users or just have a single one with the date. D’oh.

I’m really annoyed and if it wasn’t for the community of users, I’d ditch Fitbit altogether. Hate Apple Watch though so Versa it is.

As a Charge 2 user for over a year, I was looking forward to the Charge 3 updates. But now , after using the Charge 3 for a few days, it has been  a real  let-down with these new clock faces with no date option, tiles with very small fonts, and very puzzling grayed-out fonts. At seventy years old, my eyes are not as sharp as they used to be, so these small fonts and grayed out fonts pretty much makes the clock faces indecipherable to me while running or exercising unless I wear my reading glasses, which I never had to do with my Charge 2.   I wore it in the sunshine today and the grayed out numbers on the clock face time essentially  disappeared.   And not having a date displayed seems  like such a major blunder to me. I look at the date on my Charge 2 all the time. I rely on it. How did removing the date on clock face get approved!!!??. And it takes a community vote to get the date back??? Seriously??? It is such a glaring omission it should be be priority one to get the Date back along  with better clock face choices, no discussion needed. A great start for fixing this would be to just give us back the Charge 2 clock faces. Wonderful that you have engineered the Charge 3 to do so many things well and to interface with many different devices. But if it won't interface  with the human eyeball, its usefulness is greatly diminished.

How can the Charge 3 be Fitbit’s latest advance device and it can’t even tell you the date. Did they ever update the Charge 2 faces ?

A company with a Billiom dollar market cap doesn't want to spend the energy to add a couple watch faces?  Or even consider to invlude the old ones? I don't want to support a company with that kind of arrogance.

Don't understand why a date was not included in any of the watch faces. I would like to see a watch face that alternated every second with large time and then date and maybe even a third option such as heart rate or steps. Also, something the user could edit for preferences would be nice. Doesen't seem like it would be that difficult to do. It might shorten battery life a bit, but at least the user could have the option. Is there any thought or plans to add additional watch faces either by Fitbit or third party vendors?

I chose my fitbit based on the Charge 2 and just assumed that when I decided to wait for the Charge 3 that the clock face options would be at a minimum as good as the Charge 2, but they are actually less good, with, as everyone points out, no date option.  This must be simple to improve, come on Fitbit please give us some more options.

Really really needing the date on any of these watch faces, at least give us the Charge 2 faces as well! I've had every single Fitbit and this is just stupid disappointing! Unbelievable really, I need the date for my line of work and I really don't see the point of keeping the Charge 3 if it doesn't have such a basic function that my charge 2 had....

The Charge 3 should be able to have access to the same watch faces that the Versa, Ionic, and Charge 2 have (scaled to the proper screen size). I am missing my date on my watch face!! 😞

I have had a charge 2 for a while and really need the charge 3 to show time, date, and active minutes on the clock face.  Not cool that the older model will do something that the new one won't!!!!!

I have seen in some reviews (and a lot of unhappy people) and here that there is no option that was wonderful in Charge 2, which was Simple-readable Time then date then HR (cycling thru to steps & stairs). I understand that there is no clock face w/ date at all - I certainly hope you will pass this on to get an update with this information, as the Charge 2 had. I had been thinking of updating but this, as well as a lot of people on Amazon saying they are having trouble syncing and continuing to update information. So I will wait a while until I see a lot more happy people. Was waiting for SE - and will wait for more tech reviews as well.

I must say,  I agree with just about everything posted so far...    I had a Charge HR, a Charge 2, and I ran out this weekend to buy a Charge 3 (because my Charge 2's screen cracked)...   What a let down this tracker is after using those other two.

The Charge 2's screen with the time, date and steps on it was so much more readable than the Charge 3.  

Please add the Charge 2 watches/faces ASAP!

Not only was the Charge 2's screen more readable and usable, but the on device settings and navigation were so much easier and logical. 

I'm disappointed and considering returning this and just living with my Charge 2 w/cracked screen.

did anyone else have a pebble? I loved that thing. the open watchface catalog had soooooo many options. I wouldn't care if it took 90 seconds to load each one from the app, but if that hardware could do it, so should this.

will consider returning if plans aren't announced.

Definitely need the charge 2 watch face work date, time and steps easily readable.  I also am having a hard time reading steps at a glance...

I will be returning my Fitbit 3 if date is not an option. I have never heard of losing functionality with a ‘new and improved model’. This is useless for me. Why lose the Fitbit 2 screen options. Date, time, and my choice (steps). Fitbit has really lost a long time customer. Frankly these ‘new’ screen options are horrible.  Very disappointed. And really disappointed I rushed to received the product on release date. Had I waited a day I never would have purchased this.
