More clock/watch faces for the Charge 3!

So, the Charge 3 is out and there is a huge let down:

There are only 5 clock/watch faces:charge 3 clock.png

 

 

Come on Fitbit...at least include all the Charge 2 watch faces too. We all loved the Charge 2 watch face with the time, date and the highlighted feature (steps/heart rate etc.)

 

Whats missing:

- Faces with the actual DATE and DAY

- Faces with a DIGITAL SECONDS TIMER

 

Or to say it again, just include the Charge 2 watch faces. Thanks in advance.

Very much agree about the grayscale....it's just not a good choice. I'm
trying so hard to like this watch but will have to return if Fitbit does
not pay attention to everyone here and try to make some things happen for
the community.

Please listen to us and get the date put on the clock faces for the Charge 3.  My Charge 2 had twice the clock faces as the Charge 3.  Charge 3 is not an upgrade because of the pitiful options of clock faces!

I completely agreed need date !

Mine doesn't come until Nov ,I have a alta and love the fact that shows me time and date , I guess I'll just have to wait and see how long it takes them to add the date to the charge 3 Otherwise probably I'll keep going back to my alta .

The first impression opened the box very smooth. Put on hands are even better 🙂 Apple watch that fast charging as Air pods anymore good haha

Would love to see the date added, of course, and would also like a face option that has all of these items, including the date, in the bright white option so you can see the entire screen when you go outside.

I’ll be shocked if they add anythjng this year. I hope I’m wrong though.

 

Look at the Versa if you’re bailing. Pretty nice offering all-in-all. My watch face has time, date, battery, heart rate, steps, miles, steps, and active minutes. And it’s customizable.

 

Charge 3 needs to have customization options for all band faces too. It’s a huge miss for not providing users with flexibility. You’d expect that from any digital offering today.

Couldn't possibly be that hard to at least give us the same options as the older versions of the charge could it. Date/time display option with 24hr clock capability....... I had it on my last fit bit and I need it on this one.

This should be a priority based on the large volume of posts already in this topic for such a new product.

We should have a digital clock face with the date on it for the Charge 3. I had this in an Alta I used to have and loved it! I work in a jail, so it’s very useful when I need to log something in a file! Please Please Please consider this!!!!

I was considering upgrading to the new Charge 3.  I came here to see how they've improved the watch faces.

 

Instead, I find they're significantly worse than my Charge 2.  I will NOT be upgrading unless better (or pre-existing) watch faces become available.

 

On the Charge 2, I opted for the watch face with Time, Date, Steps, and HR all visible at a glance.  I wouldn't (necessarily) mind a change in layout, but a loss of information is unacceptable.  I'll (maybe) check back later to see if Fitbit fixes this foolish oversight.  Otherwise, I'll wait until the next version...or hope a different company steps up.

 

The only Charge 3 feature I actually care about is water resistance.  Mostly, I was hoping that they would make the Charge 3 screen daylight readable.  When I am outside, I'm sick of reaching for my phone so I can tell the time.

 

 

I wish Fitbit would stop wasting effort/talent trying to be Apple.  They're not.  If they'd simply focus on making the best tracker possible, I'd keep buying them.  I have zero interest in a smart watch.

 

I simply want a normal looking watch that has great fitness tracking.  I don't want to wear a big screen on my wrist.  I already have one in my pocket (my phone).

My first FitBit. I was so excited when it finally got here! I work random days and need to know the date as well as the day of the week at a glance.

I upgraded from Flex to Charge 3 and came to look for more watch faces. Completely agree with others that date is very important information.

Please post an update to give us (all the members that have posted here) a date for the new clock faces for FitBit Charge 3 with Day+Date+Time+Steps option. Your last post,

saying new clock faces were on the way, was a week ago and so many people want this feature restored as soon as possible, it should be a priority!

The whole FitBit Charge3 community, I believe, is tuned in waiting for this! I look forward to hearing more from you by return.

@techfan42 it’s not trying to be an Apple Watch. Did you not know they bought Pebble? I was a Pebble fan so it makes sense to migrate fitness and Pebble watch capabilities into one.

I posted about my disappointment regarding the lack of date on the clock face on this thread on the 8th of October.

 

Since then, instead of showing off my shiny new Charge 3 to all and sundry, I have found myself complaining to people about it instead. My lovely new bit of tech was actually making me sad, so I returned it today for a refund.

 

If face updates come through, maybe I'll repurchase, but to be honest nothing that I've read in this epic thread has given me confidence that Fitbit are actually listening to us.

 

Happy to be proved wrong, fear that I won't be.

I took mine back. I called your chat center and the answer I got regarding the date is. Fitbit is working on it. I asked well will I be able to download the date. She said I don’t know. So you do not know when the date will be available for the charge3. She said your guess is as good as mine. What kind of answers is that?
So I returned the charge 3 and looking for a tracker that will contain the date. I have had 2 Fitbit hr 2 and they both broke after a year. Sorry but if you make improvements on a product you shouldn’t leave important information off.

I've owned 2 fitbit charge hrs and a Charge 2 not included my wife's fitbits and was going to purchase a Charge 3 yesterday, fortunately or unfortunately none of the stores around me had it in stock. After coming home researching and finding out there is no date or seconds counter + hard to read display outside I will not make this purchase! However when the issue is fixed I will be buying that day. Please get it done Fitbit!
