More clock/watch faces for the Charge 3!

So, the Charge 3 is out and there is a huge let down:

There are only 5 clock/watch faces:

Come on Fitbit...at least include all the Charge 2 watch faces too. We all loved the Charge 2 watch face with the time, date and the highlighted feature (steps/heart rate etc.)

Whats missing:

- Faces with the actual DATE and DAY

- Faces with a DIGITAL SECONDS TIMER

Or to say it again, just include the Charge 2 watch faces. Thanks in advance.

Repairing software for someone who wrote it is a matter of a few days
You do it for a few months.
Who is writing you this software (cleaner or security guard)?
I am surprised by the patience of people because not cheap equipment

I have been been out running with the charge 3 and it is not good, and will need to change it up soon.

I won’t buy a Charge 3 until they give me the faces i want. I’ll keep my Charge 2 for now. I dont need waterproof and I can Wait for weather and fit pay. Tired of fitbit dragging its feet and not responding to customers. Thanks to everyone for posting and raising awareness.

I have posted before how much I love my ageing Charge 2, but being in the older age group the Charge 3 clock faces appear hard to read, plus the initial lack of date put me off. Reluctantly I have decided to give up on Fitbit and am going to try the Amazefit Bip which has very long battery life, a reasonable number of clock faces including date and (gasp) day of the week! Apparently the display is easily readable in sunlight which will suit these old eyes. Hopefully Fitbit in the future will make the Charge 4 more friendly for the older age group and I will switch back.

Did i just read there were more clock faces added after the 2 with date? Saw comment on email & then it was gone. Just updated & still same clocks for me. I am a huge fitbit fan & actually live my Charge 3 just want Charge 2 clocks too

I agree. I love the charge 3 so far, but the charge 2 clock faces were much better. On the charge 2, my home screen showed time, date, steps and Heart rate.  There isn’t a clock face on the charge 3 that will show all that info.

Come on, my Charge 2 has simple, readable Time-Date-Steps-Heartrate.  All easily read in sunshine or nighttime, by my 62 year old eyes.  So far, I haven;t seen a Charge 3  face with those 4 pieces of data shown.  And the 3 date faces are shaded, or too small font or something flawed.  Simply replicate the Charge 2 faces (call them 'legacy faces' so the software team can save face).  This is an absolute dealbreaker as much as I wanted to upgrade to the superior hardware of the Charge 3.  Might become an Apple watch user if they don't fix this soon!

I work a "shift work" schedule.  There are many days that I cannot tell a Monday from a Thursday. I dislike the new Charge 3. I about to send it back because you no longer have the day on the face.  It was very cool that you added the "second hand" so-to-speak.  However, without the day, I have no real use for this watch, so I am going back to my Charge 2. The 2 does not have the second hand, but it has e.g. Nov 20 Tues. I would really need "Nov 20 Tues 23:05:30." That would be perfection.

I agree. Unfortunately I purchased the Charge 3 without seeing this thread. And I think its been a downgrade so far. At least with the lack of functional clock faces. Having read through a few pages, looks like people have been requesting better clockfaces for the past couple of months and nothing has come from Fitbit. Very disappointing. I will be returning this device for my money back and changing to something like the Amazfit. Have read good things about it.

Love that design, but of course that's just my opinion. I think it is elegant and resolves some issues that I have with the 'Steps Date' design I currently use (its the most usable of the current selection):

- adds battery info (very handy!)

- adds heart rate

- retains the date

- step count in bigger sized numbers for improved readability while working out. The 'Steps Date' design has really tiny numbers for step count and it is hard for me to read them.

Kudos to the designer, and I hope to see this design appear in the gallery at some time.

Yep. I agree it must be about the software team “saving face”. Legacy faces
sounds like a perfect solution. I actually borrowed my daughters Apple
Watch while waiting for the Charge 3 to arrive. Now wishing I had the Apple
Watch back. I need a digital display that shows seconds for my track
workouts. Seconds matter. I am 62 also. But it is besides the point. This
was a goof that might have caused a competitive edge with Apple and others
to be lost. It is an easy fix. Swallow pride and fix now please.

Give back the option from the Charge 2 to select what stat is most important to the user on the clock face.  Steps are not my main goal and now I have to scroll through to find out where I am on the goal that I am tracking.

Just bought my Charge 3, 2 weeks ago and loving it, after upgrading from the surge.

As far as faces, what I'm missing is a Digital Clock with Date (and ideally day) + Heartbeat + Steps.

Saw some people here have suggested some great designs along those lines already.

For some reason only the Analog one has Date and Heartbeat. None of the Digitals have Date and Heartbeat, only Date and Steps.

Would also be great if one of the screens (not the main one) would show battery status.

I was informed that Fitbit has newly release a clock face showing the date, time, heart rate, steps. 

Any charge3 user care to confirm and provide the image of the new clock face please?
