More clock/watch faces for the Charge 3!

So, the Charge 3 is out and there is a huge let down:

There are only 5 clock/watch faces:

Come on Fitbit...at least include all the Charge 2 watch faces too. We all loved the Charge 2 watch face with the time, date and the highlighted feature (steps/heart rate etc.)

Whats missing:

- Faces with the actual DATE and DAY

- Faces with a DIGITAL SECONDS TIMER

Or to say it again, just include the Charge 2 watch faces. Thanks in advance.

caller through the watch. It's about $150.

Agreed, improve the number and quality of the clock faces. Need a clock face that includes times with seconds, Date and Heart Rate

Purchased mine two weeks ago. Clearly failed with research. Just did a 5
hour walk and couldn’t see the steps for the whole distance. Binning it.
Ordered an amazfit bit. Anyone got anyother alternatives that isn’t a
watch. I just want steps!

Why does it take so long to have apparently simple things addressed? Time+ date+ steps+  hr or seconds or some user selected option. I understand the moderators aren't the developers and are in a tough spot with these things, and they can only forward user needs up the line and hope they are addressed. Does not seem very customer focused.

Apart from one vague comment from a moderator, we have had absolutely zero input from FitBit in the last month.

Unless they are rewriting the software / firmware from scratch, ( which may be necessary if they have made the monumental screwup that I suspect they have), there is no possible excuse for delays of this nature.

Even less is there an excuse for the atrocious lack of communication with their users.
Seriously, I have seen high security firewalls that are more penetrable than the blockades between users and decision makers in this company.

I am thinking of returning my charge 3 for the fact that the clock faces are terrible.  The clock faces in the charge 2 were great.  They include time, date, steps and heart rate.  The most common things people buy these watches for. Also missing is the resting heart rate.  I bought this to watch my heart rate during exercise brings I have a fast rate to begin with.  If there isnt an update soon I will be returning this product.

 I see in here a lot of people frustrated with the seemingly glacial pace of Fitbit dealing with issues. I think I need to point something out: fit it does not use these forums directly for tech-support, bug reporting, interaction with users. Perhaps they do but it’s not very frequent or robust. If you are having a complaint or an issue with your Fitbit and how it functions, call the tech-support line or open a chat. That will create a case log/ticket number  and elevate the issue for the developers. 

 When I got my ionic last year, it would not sync with Bluetooth out of the box at all. I’ve vented and whined and complained in these forums for months on and off and got a couple of links to very unhelpful troubleshooting steps. When I finally got frustrated with it and called helpdesk. It took three different phone calls and me being patient to step through the process of reinstalling the not working correctly device. Eventually they sent me a replacement for free

AS A Fitbit Charge 3 owner

I WANT to be able to customize the watchface in sections

SO THAT I can have the data I want displayed, the way I want it.  

Breaking the watchface up into three sections will allow Users to create a watchface that is unique to them without development having to create every conceivable combination.  The three sections should be the header, the body, and the footer.  This will also allow flexibility for third party developers that do not want to have to recreate watch faces to simply add a data feed above or below.  

The header will allow for any one data display from the current biometric list or day, month, and day of week. 

The body will be the watchface itself which will allow one of the following current digital or analog displays to be chosen.  

The footer will allow for any one data display from the current biometric list or day, month, and day of week.

Acceptance Criteria:

Useibg the Fitbit app a User selects heart rate for the header.  The User selects a digital time display with seconds ring.  The User then selects calories for the footer display.  

The User then decides to change their display by going back into the app. The User selects steps for the header, an analog face for the body, and steps for the footer.  The duplicate display of data will cause a modal to display asking the User to select another data feed.

I have talked to them on phone as well that doesn’t help at all with this situation.They put me on hold to check and came back online and told me to come here.So I don’t believe that applies to talk to support for this problem.Other times when I had issues yes not this.

The Charge 3 clockfaces are a real disappointment.  At least there should be an option similar to that on Charge 2 which has time, HR, steps, and date.  Why offer less?

I’m in complete agreement in the disappointing clock face choices ..  I very much like the day/date, digital time w/seconds and the highlighted stat (steps, HR, floors..  etc) available on the Charge 2 model ...

Somebody must be buying the Charge 3 with the lousy clock faces. Fitbit might not care what the folks on this community (ie, existing customers) want, but they would not ignore their bottom line. I guess people who never saw the more useful Charge 2 clock faces must be settling for limited Charge 3 options.

Why aren't you listening to us Fitbit?

I am using the charge as a watch replacement. The least we can have is a clock face with the time, date, steps and HR altogether. This is what is the primary function of the charge 3 and it's funny how the previous versions have these clocks but not the latest version!

Listen to your users Fitbit and give us this clock face!

Just unwrapped my Charge 3 and crushed my beloved minimalist watch face with the bold time and date is gone. I wanted the waterproof feature but I might return because I can’t stabs any of the watch faces. The asymmetrical one is the closet to the minimal face except the asymmetry hurts my brain.

Also what’s their obsession with asymmetrical clock face. It’s absolutely terrible and ugly please stop or at least give us normal people a normal digital clock option!!!!

It needs a better face look for the clock on charge 2, that’s what I have and love my charge 2; but I was hoping to change one the clock.  The it’s time to update on the charge 2 it should change some figures on the watch to make it better and people will like wearing and buying the fitbit watch and good prices too.      sue

I too just "upgraded" from my Charge 2 to the new Charge 3.  I am terribly dissapointed!  I'd heard about the terrible clock faces and that new ones were out.  But good grief, they're terrible!  I agree with the others - at least provide what's available on the Charge 2!  I was very pleased with the Charge 2's display that included Time, Date, Steps, and Heart Rate.  With a larger display on the Charge 3, I was looking forward to being able to read these better.  But no, Fitbit went the childish simplistic route.  Come on!  There should be dozens of displays possible!  Previous posts included some excellent examples.  Use them!

I'm seriously considering returning my Charge 3 and going back to my Charge 2.  Fitbit - there are *so* many negative comments about the clock faces - you really need to address them!

YES -  I agree with all of the previous posts -  I am greatly disappointed in the watch faces offered with the Charge 3 -  My Alta HR is better! The Charge 2 looks better.  I need time, steps, heart rates and date with day of the week -  I need to be able to customize the screens.  I don't need several of the screens that are stuck on this model.  Maybe I just need to return it.
