More clock/watch faces for the Charge 3!

So, the Charge 3 is out and there is a huge let down:

There are only 5 clock/watch faces:

Come on Fitbit...at least include all the Charge 2 watch faces too. We all loved the Charge 2 watch face with the time, date and the highlighted feature (steps/heart rate etc.)

Whats missing:

- Faces with the actual DATE and DAY

- Faces with a DIGITAL SECONDS TIMER

Or to say it again, just include the Charge 2 watch faces. Thanks in advance.

I think my clock face wish is along the lines of many others! I had been using the Charge 3 Double stat, because I really want to see my steps and my HR. Seeing the date would be a bonus for sure. The Retro Face is nifty... but it doesn't show the HR unless I tap the screen, and I don't want to cycle through all of the options if I am in a work out, I just want to lift the watch and see my steps and see the HR on the same screen. Since they did manage to add the Retro Face its a shame that they didn't add the Charge 2 Double stat face.. that listed the time date the steps and HR. Again at this point I could care less about the date... I just really want a face with the steps listed in a number and the HR with the digital clock shown in one line. 

Maybe they can make a create your own face option... Even if it was super simple and only 4 lines.. where you can choose from a list what is displayed along each line, or leave it blank. I know if this was an option, it would be my go to choice!!!!

I am going to try out the asymmetrical face, because it lists the number of steps and the HR, but I am not a fan of how the time is displayed, I really liked the way the time and HR were displayed in Double Stat, but the steps were only shown as a goal icon, so it stopped showing updates once I hit the goal.

I am glad that FitBit took suggestions and created more faces.. I just wish they had given more options... or a create your own face...

I would love to see a clock face options that includes a digital clock, heart rate, and the date. There is an analog version of this, but I would love one that has a digital clock with the other features!!

So the recent firmware update 1.49.45 added a "Charge 2 Retro" clockface, which is a big improvement for those wanting the date added. It shows time, date, and the first of your stats (mine defaults to steps first). Tapping the screen will cycle thru the other stats (next, I believe, is heart rate) while keeping the date and time in place at the top.

While an improvement, it would be nice to see double stats on this retro face, and the option to reorder the list of stats and eliminate/hide the ones I don't want to see. It may be a slow rollout, but I have confidence Fitbit will get there, especially with many users demanding these things. I think what happened is they wanted to get the thing out before Christmas and so released it "as is", with plans to add features over time via firmware updates.

It would be nice if a Fitbit rep could confirm this...

One thing I find odd is why the need for the fitbit logo on the face? The charge 2 didn't need it

Well I have to post as I am one of those that wanted only date time heart rate.  I have a concern with my heart rate so that’s a bit more important to me than the number pf

steps taken.  It is also why I selected the Charge over various other fitness devices.   Applied the latest update and I’m glad to see the Charge 2 Retro.  I tapped on the screen after selecting the face and was pleased to see I now have time/date/HR. Thank you.

Agreed and the Charge 3 picks up HR better than the Charge 2 did. I am quite pleased with the changes made especially the addition of  Gorilla Glass to the watch face as well as the feature that now lets me know when I pass every km on my runs.  The Charge 2 retro clock faces have everything I need but maybe over time more will be added. I must say though that the 3D clock is a bit strange

All that work for new clock faces and still not one with all 4 important pieces of information. The charge 2 had it, why can't the charge 3 have it?

Now there's new clockfaces  

One of them is RETRO CHARGE 2 

AND ITS JUST PERFECT.

@saar60 so when u say perfect like charge 2 would I be able to have time date floors and steps on main screen because I can tap to see others like u said.I liked how I could put HR on other screen and replace it with floors.those 4 r the most important too me.So u now can have 4 right now on main 1st screen?Can anyone send a picture of how this might look having 4 of what u want?could someone actually put floors on first main screen to see if this would work for me?I love my charge 2 just wished it was waterproof.

I bought the original HR because it was superior to any thing else at the time and it provided the ability to provide instant heart rate display. This is very important for me because of my AFIB, especially when jogging. After today's update I find it harder than ever to find heart rate.

If I had a choice I would select MrPuma's "HR Stat."

Yea!!!! Thanks Fitbit for bringing back the Charge 2 retro clock face. Now I can see the time and date and finally I can read the total daily steps without straining my eyes.

What I am missing is a clock face that has date, time and heart rate. All of the clocks are either missing the date or have steps instead of heart rate. Please add a new one, or add a feature to select your metric!

If you can't put - time, date, steps and heart rate all on the one clock face - how about one, just like your Charge 2 Retro, that just cycles though steps and heart rate? You could make other faces for people who want to see different parameters. Just a few clones of the Charge 2 Retro with fewer things to cycle though? You can still swipe up to see the rest of the information as you do now. Surely that is possible?

Echoing the voices of my peers.  I would love to have time,  date,  steps,  heart rate.  I need to keep am eye on heart rate all the time and don't want to cycle through my watch every time I need to check.  My charge 2 had all these on one face.

Definitely, the clock faces included with Charge 2 should be available in Charge 3. Especially the face that has Time, date, steps and heart rate.

What is wrong with you people? You are going backwards. Very disappointing, to say the least. 

You change things that need changing and then leave behind things that are absolutely helpful and useful...hard to understand.

I liked the clock face on the Charge 2 that allowed for Time, Date, Steps and Floors (configurable based on goals/priority).

I'm hearing a lot of people are asking for Time, Date, Steps and HR.  Hopefully that can be controlled by a setting, so the Steps/Floors/HR are all options to choose from for the position 3 & 4 on the clock face.

Also Charge 2 had the option to customize the display and remove things like Calories, which in my opinion is nice to see once in a while but can be misleading, so I opted to remove it from ever being shown in my Charge 2.  Bring back the Customize Display option, and tie it in with the 4-position clock face (Time, Date, Display Priority #1, Display Priority #2).

Came here to echo what everyone else is saying.

I am very accustomed to my Charge 2 Clock Face, which was  

TIME

DATE

STEPS

HR.

The "charge 2 retro" clock face is "okay", but, as noted in another reply, we can't remove the other stats like floors and miles, so if I want to see my HR, I have to click through several stats to get back to my steps. Also, I think everything is just a bit smaller on the Charge 3 and that's puzzling, since the screen is larger.

I hope FITBIT sees this and gives us a proper Charge 2 Clock Face for the Charge 3.
