More clock/watch faces for the Charge 3!

So, the Charge 3 is out and there is a huge let down:

There are only 5 clock/watch faces:

Come on Fitbit...at least include all the Charge 2 watch faces too. We all loved the Charge 2 watch face with the time, date and the highlighted feature (steps/heart rate etc.)

Whats missing:

- Faces with the actual DATE and DAY

- Faces with a DIGITAL SECONDS TIMER

Or to say it again, just include the Charge 2 watch faces. Thanks in advance.

Hello nice people. I bought my Charge 3 resently and I love it! You've done a great work with it! I have a little suggestion. I know you probably get lots of those suggestions and you can't really please everyone, but I see you keep adding new watch surfaces and just in case you will continue adding new ones I would love to see an Analog Stats clock but with numbers. It's a bit hard to see the hour for the short time the screen is on without numbers on it. Something with numbers would be very easy to see at a glance. I've notices that people said in reviews there was no date on the screen and you responded very quickly by adding new clocks faces with date on it. Obviously you really pay attention on people's oppinions. So I hope to see Numbers Analog (with the steps and heartbeats as the other one available now) in the future.

This is my most important feature and I'd like easy access to it.

I'm glad Fitbit added two faces with date, but still need more options. Please add at least all those available on Charge 2.

Include the DAY of the week! This is really important and easy, eg, Thu Jan 5 doesn't take up much more of the date line than just Jan 5.

Thanks for the update @SantiR.  I'm happy to hear there is some progress and that Fitbit will "release it soon".  Although, honestly, that is not much of an update.  I'm fairly certain Fitbit will release "something sometime".

The pronoun "it" covers quite a bit of ground.  "It" could be something that makes me hate the Charge 3 even more.  Or, "it" could be something that makes the Charge 3 absolutely awesome.  While I suspect the latter, any chance you could narrow the range of possibilities slightly?

Based on prior "updates", the adverb "soon" could refer to anything from tomorrow to never.  Could we maybe quantify "soon" with an upper limit?  Is "soon" less than a week?  Less than a month?  Less than a quarter year?  Hopefully, less than a full year?

I don't have high expectations.  I simply want something I can actually see...so no "gray" text.  And, something that contains at least as much information as my current charge 2 screen: time, date, steps, and HR.  Day of week would be nice, but I'm not expecting that much.

With zero specificity, I'm not clear on the purpose of this "update".   Is the hope that people won't notice that zero actual information has been shared?

In the case you actually do make progress, it might be beneficial to at least share / brag about that information.

I hear that date was added to a couple of watch faces.  That seem like some progress.  I haven't upgraded from my Charge 2.  So, I'm left guessing.

It might be nice to actually share those watch faces on some thread, page, or other accessible location that can be easily monitored.  Your site kindly provides the capability to post images.  Maybe use it?

I honestly started out very excited by the prospect of a thinner, waterproof version of the Charge 2.  I've been a cheerleader for that device for quite some time.  I highly rated it on Amazon and encouraged about a half dozen friends and family to buy one.  I still think the Charge 2 is a great device.

What happened?  At this point, I would still like to buy a Charge 3, but I'm enormously discouraged by the lack of response, on these forums, to what are (mostly) perfectly reasonable requests for information.

Like many on this forum, I'm one of the people you're targeting with this device...the people that DON'T want an Apple Watch or Wear OS device.  I actually want to give you my money.  Why make it so difficult to do so?

I must concur with most of the views. The charge 2 faces should be added to the charge 3, in particular the one that displayed the time, date, steps and heart rate. Why this wasn’t included is beyond me.

I'd like to see the ability to choose any two options to include on the asymmetrical clockface from all the tracked information viewable on the dashboard plus the inclusion of day/date since day/date is very important to some users and some may be more interested in stairs climbed or hydration or whatever than heartrate or steps. It should be simple enough to program it to allow selecting face options by the user one would think.

@LDB415 - I agree. Wouldn't it be most effective to design one flexible clockface? This may be more work up front - but we wouldn't be investing our time in discussions on who likes which features on their clockface.

@Jan89 yes I totally agree with the user selected Main goal (steps, floors, km, cals or activity) on the upper part of the screen.

Sadly, it seem like the steps is the only (hard-coded) option for now... 😕

I would also LOVE a clock face that has time, date, HR, and steps.  This is what I've always had shown on my previous Fitbits and it was ideal.  I'm just not getting everything I want with the current clock faces.  Seems like there should be many more options for this being the newest fitbit.

All these comments are valid. I just upgraded from the charge 2 to charge 3 and I found the faces a big let down. At least including the previous faces as option. A customization face/look would be ideal so everyone can tailor it to their needs.

I completely agree that the clock faces are too limited and not user friendly. I need to see my steps, the time, date, and my heart rate clearly-- especially during a workout. I could do this with the Charge 2, but not now. All except the weird time format are dimmed and there's no date at all.

I agree 100000% to have a seconds timer on the Charge 3. As a medical provider, I sometimes need to see the seconds hand or a count.

why is it so difficult to just give us the customizable option to add/remove and adjust size according to an iconic grid for our watchface with modular info presets. That simple option is first gen 2005 smartdevice.

It's like fitbit is going cheap on software development with the expressed expectation that the aftermarket hacker/programming community of college kids will come up with something for them. Like others who have owned the Charge2 have mentioned, they Took AWAY features in the "upgraded newer" model?  This was a gift, otherwise if I were jumping into wrist smartdevices, why would i get fitbit over a smartwatch at this pricepoint? This reminds me of the days when a garbage "10in digital photo frame" cost 100$ while a 19inch LCD monitor w all its complexities cost the same side by side.

It's sad, but I have to agree. The things that made previous Fitbit devices great (Charge 2/Alta HR) have been dumbed down or removed from the Charge 3 so that the more expensive Versa & Ionic can appear like "better" and "full featured" devices. You may be able to fool new users, but your loyal users aren't blind to this.

I wanted to upgrade to the charge 3 (currently using the charge 2) but definitely not going to before there is a watchface with the date on it. Such a basic thing should come with this new fitbit.

Please add default Charge 2 clock face to Charge 3.   I miss a standard digital clock, date, steps.   I've been with you since original Fitbit, this should be easy for you guys.  Please don't leave tried and true customers behind, we are your base!

Just received my charge 3 and I’m super dissapointed by the clock face. The charge 2 has a smaller screen but more and customizable information. Where is the option to see the date, the time in a artistic way so the information we want to see is present and a reasonable font size. At least update it with the same options as the charge 2.
