More clock/watch faces for the Charge 3!

So, the Charge 3 is out and there is a huge let down:

There are only 5 clock/watch faces:

Come on Fitbit...at least include all the Charge 2 watch faces too. We all loved the Charge 2 watch face with the time, date and the highlighted feature (steps/heart rate etc.)

Whats missing:

- Faces with the actual DATE and DAY

- Faces with a DIGITAL SECONDS TIMER

Or to say it again, just include the Charge 2 watch faces. Thanks in advance.

I was apparently misinformed from fitbit's Admin in Instagram . 

Right now, the only clock faces available at this time showing the date is 'analog date' which shows the HR only and the 'mod clock date' showing steps. There isn't a face which features all these 4.

Sigh. So much for the anticipation and excitement. How long do we have to wait?

Digital seconds timer is an absolute must. The CrossFit and HIIT a crowd of
people needs this feature or the watch is useless. I am 62 but showed the
watch to some family members just out of college. They said the lack of
digital seconds timer wasn’t ageism against my age bracket - but against
theirs!
In sum, “no digital seconds timer = not for athletes”. Period. The earliest
Garmins even have always had digital second timers since 10 years ago! Ask
anyone who does marathons, 5Ks, swim meets, bike races. Ask any of them.
Especially the young ones. What do I know? I was a loyal Fitbit customer.
Have bought for myself or gifted over a dozen devices, scales, etc. I love
everything about the Fitbit company and products but this ONE issue of
clock faces is a non starter.
The team who made this decision just sabatoged the company and it will
catch up to them. Just fix it. So we can stop this 2 month long thread!!

Miles instead of steps are much more important to me. I want a clock face that shows miles (distance) instead of steps. I would also like one that includes today date.

Fitbit please just include the clock faces from Fitbit 2 -- the face I used was "Steps Date"  Very easy to read in all types of light and having the steps very important to know where I am during the day on hitting my goal.  Also the date is very important on the fly when responding to emails, etc... Thanks.

 Please include a face that displays DAY of the week. I am currently using the "Steps Date" face available on the app, but I would the same face with the day of the week replacing the month. So instead of NOV 23, it could show SAT 23. Thanks!

I have the Fitbit Charge 2, and I am really happy with it. I really want to upgrade to the Charge 3, but the only problem I have with it is the clock face. It would be really nice if they could add new watch faces with the DATE and perhaps SECONDS before Christmas. Thanks in advance for considering this.

A few days ago I bought an Amazfit Bip (& 2 days later it went on Black Friday sale for $40 off!!). Even so, it was very affordable and provides  features for me that are missing from the C3 eg a downloadable choice of watch faces that includes date AND day of the week, a clock with seconds is available, timer, notifications for all apps (oddly I cant get iMessage to display yet) and a very long battery life. The display is always on, is easily readable and in the strong sun is surprisingly even more visible. It has on board GPS which I have tested and worked well plus sleep tracking. It is even more comfortable and lighter to wear than my C2. For keen fitness folk the C2/C3 would be more suitable though for the detailed data provided on the Fitbit app, and the Bip is only splash proof. The Bip is more suited to us older folk who do walking exercises and need an affordable, easily read watch function display. It was unsettling changing brands as I loved my ageing C2 and had been so looking forward to the C3. I hope Fitbit listens to this feedback site and soon introduces more clock faces with dates. With future models I suggest Fitbit uses a selection of users to trial the device and adjust the specs accordingly. I hope one day I am able to return to using a Fitbit device.

I love Fitbit's ecosystem and love my Fitbit Charge 2, except it's not swimproof and daylight readability is not great.

I hoped Charge 3 would solve these problems.  It solved one and made the other worse.  Somehow, it also managed to present even less information on a single screen.  I hadn't even considered that was a possibility.

To top it off, customer service has chosen to largely ignore these complaints.

It is with considerable regret I conclude that my next watch will NOT be a Fitbit.   I keep hoping Fitbit will respond in this thread, but keep getting disappointed.

I don't see a great alternative, but I'll probably end up experimenting with the Amazfit Bip.

By Christmas, if not sooner, i'll stop monitoring this thread..

I am still hoping (somehow) that I am overly pessimistic about the Charge 3's future, but that seems depressingly, increasingly,  unlikely.  Sadly, it seems to me, that Fitbit has decided Versa is its future.

Please at least add the Charge 2 faces. Again good visibility while active.  Time, date heart rate and steps would be helpful.  Maybe either the larger face a seconds also option would be helpful.   Also how about a way to tap/ stack keeping the face visible in maybe 20 second add on intervals up to 2 minutes so you can see the face ( like when you doing planks ( without touching).  Thanks

I agree with these comments.  Shocked how few faces were available and that there's no options to customise beyond the standard set of faces. Would be good to have different faces for different status or activities. I'd like to see one face when active and a different one when just walking or stationary, and to be be able switch more easily between several options. Also to have time programmed settings like brightness eg at night have on did , during sleep to show only if tapped, during day to be bright.

Fitbit I'd give you a 6/10 score, could try harder, it's a work in progress but yet to fully deliver.

Would it be possible to have a clock face exactly like the default one, but making the hour display as "00:35" and replacing the step goal icon with a step icon and the total amount of steps please? I don't really care so much about how close I am to my goal as to how many steps I've actually made.

Anything less than all clock faces that Charge 2 had and / or user configurable clock faces that accomplishes the same functionality is a down grade of Charge 2 to Charge 3. Once I see this I will repurchase my returned Downgraded Charge 3. Clock is ticking.
