More clock/watch faces for the Charge 3!

So, the Charge 3 is out and there is a huge let down:

There are only 5 clock/watch faces:

Come on Fitbit...at least include all the Charge 2 watch faces too. We all loved the Charge 2 watch face with the time, date and the highlighted feature (steps/heart rate etc.)

Whats missing:

- Faces with the actual DATE and DAY

- Faces with a DIGITAL SECONDS TIMER

Or to say it again, just include the Charge 2 watch faces. Thanks in advance.

I was definitely disappointed in the lack of a date option for the watch. Please update ASAP.

Would like more clock face options with a bit bigger font for HR  and steps.  I can barely see it unless I put on reading glasses! The screen can manage bigger font.  Also include date please.  Charge 2 had some good options why would there not be better options for Charge 3?

I like the design aesthetic you are going for on the Charge 3, utilizing the extended color pallet and new fonts.  However, you really do need more choices, and the date is a must

But please don't succumb to the information-overload designs suggested by some people, especially Trebor155 (I like his enthusiasm, though).  A face that included steps, time, abbreviated date, and heart rate worked well on the Charge 2 as a face combo.  Modern fonts, sans-serif, non-italic go a long way.

Are all the faces stored on the Charge 3 device, meaning you are constrained by how many faces you can offer from the app?

Not only does it need the date to be at least equal to the previous model but also having the current weather information would be awesome and should be possible with the larger screen

No dates on ANY faces? This is BS. I'll def be looking at other options for a wearable in the future that has simple quality of life settings like a date, or the ability to choose when a day starts instead of midnight. I work overnights in the medical field so a day that starts at midnight doesn't work for me and I need a date on my watch face otherwise what's the point?

Im debating whether to put my charge 2 back on.

I totally agree with all the comments. Being a little disappointed especially because Fitbit itself quotes on german product page something like: "Change your Charge 3 into a style statement. With changeable wristbands and unique watch faces it will become an expression of your personality." Here is my suggestion for a useful watchface, including 8 complications which are intended to be customizable/changeable:

Cmon, even my ancient Charge HR has a clock face with date on it! I hope it's coming with promised calendar update. Having calendar without date would be very useless.

I just ordered a fitbit 3 and will return it due to the face not having a date.  I didn't know that when I ordered it.  I cant believe that fitbit would omit one of the most important features of a watch.

Huge fail on Fitbit's part, no excuse for such a lame decision. Look at the meager selection of watch faces they set up and not even the most basic content as date available. I just don't understand how you launch a new product with upgraded features and downgrade the content you will be looking at all day. Back to Garmin....

Bought the charge 3 to replace my charge 2 (Which I LOVE!)

Evident from 5 minutes of use after charging and initial setup it was not what I expected and after reading through these threads I have packaged it up and taken it back for a full refund this morning.

I'm shocked they would have the nerve to release this "Upgrade" without the basic features that make the charge 2 one of the market leaders in fitness trackers.... fitbit should be ashamed 

On a further note the swipe screen technology was not exactly fluid and the virtual side button for me anyway was not a welcomed or successful addition

I’ve decided to send mine back. I actually needed to know the date this morning and it wasn’t there. This is the dumbest smart band ever. So annoyed may move away from Fitbit altogether.

Couldn't agree more, who sat with the design team and approved this at
fitbit and thought it was ready for prime time. Totally unacceptable, yes
it can be added thru a later update but what does it say about the decision
making process at corporate.... Big mistake and they will lose significant
customers

So agree with this needing a date on the clock face. I loved it on my blaze. I know this screen is smaller than the blaze, but there is still room for it

Can't see it taking long to add as it is crazy not to have the option on a new fitbit but to have on old. I love the new streamlined shape of the Charge 3 & hoping the sweat & dirt doesn't get as stuck without the crevices of Charge 2.

I was trying to find an alternate face that showed the steps in larger type - my eyes aren't what they used to be.

Since I'm coming off a Flex2 that just has lights, I was excited to have a display again.  But this is a major letdown.  I like the Charge 2 options; please make them available on the Charge 3.

This is my 2nd Fitbit - my first was the charge hr, I do prefer a screen with time and date on them. I’ve seen other users images of the charge 2 and do wonder why you’ve decided to scrap the date off them completely? 

Please give us more options!

This is such a strange oversight given that the new larger screen can enable more information. New versions of all of the Charge 2 faces could look even nicer on the Charge 3 screen.

I actually don't like any of the clock faces at all on the Charge 3. Just rechecked that I wasn't being harsh!
