More clock/watch faces for the Charge 3!

So, the Charge 3 is out and there is a huge let down:

There are only 5 clock/watch faces:charge 3 clock.png

Come on Fitbit...at least include all the Charge 2 watch faces too. We all loved the Charge 2 watch face with the time, date and the highlighted feature (steps/heart rate etc.)

Whats missing:

- Faces with the actual DATE and DAY

- Faces with a DIGITAL SECONDS TIMER

Or to say it again, just include the Charge 2 watch faces. Thanks in advance.

I also use Calories as the main target since it reflects an aggregation of all the things I do (exercise bike HIIT, weights, isometrics, stairs etc) not just steps since I am working and for steps it is hard to achieve a reasonable number in a working day.  Charge 2 had this on the main screen and Charge 3 does not (so far).

I agree, my main goal is also calories, but more because heartrate seems to be more accurate than steps for me.

There are more than five faces. Under All clocks,  I count 13 including  one called Retro Charge 2 which I am using. If you update your Charge 3 software  you shoud see them.

If you look at the 13 faces, none of them have what is being asked for including the Retro Charge 2. That Charge 2 clock face is only one of the many that we would like to see available on the 3.

Car,

Many commenters asked for four parameters and I agree with that and respondd earlier to that effect,

Some comments seem to be based on only five faces and/or want what appears to be time, date and one parameter. If that is what they want and I can show them that with the Retro 2 face, that is why I took photos so they can see it is possible now.

That said, the four parameter face, I favour the date, time and two parameters as chosen by the wearer. Hopefully.......

It's now March and Fitbit has yet to add a clock face that we've been asking for since last year, one that shows the Date, Time, Heart Rate, and Steps like the Charge 2 displays..

Fitbit has yet to acknowledge this or give any indication if they plan to add this.

I assume they're just ignoring us and focusing on rushing out a new product

Agree with everyone else, what happened to the options you had with the charge 2, need to be able to see the same info we could with Charge 2...

I've actually gone back to my charge 2 until these things get fixed so I've got an expensive "upgrade" sitting on the counter because Fitbit released an "upgrade" that lost the functionality that everyone loved and became problematic even with the things it could do ie, counts stairs or steps unreliably, and won't even properly sync reliably.

I've had the Charge 3 less than 24 hours and I'm very likely to return it.  Apparently the SpO2 doesn't work (or isn't available), even though it is advertised everywhere I see it.  I was really hoping for a VO2Max chart.  And these clock faces are ridiculous.  I assumed buying the product 6 months after launch would have fixed many of the complaints I was reading about, but they have not done anything apparently.

I never thought in this day-and-age I couldn't customize my clock face.  Especially coming from a Name Brand in the fitness community!!!

Really poor showing FitBit.   At this point I'm assuming they are trying to get bought, or are floundering from mismanagement.

Oh well.  Eventually a competent competitor will take your place.

Too bad I can't edit or delete a post.  I was able to find my VO2 Max chart though the Cardio Fitness score.  So I retract one of the main issues I was having.

Still would rather see Calories instead of Steps on DoubleStat, plus date would be nice.  These clock faces sure are lame.

For me a face that shows Calories, Time, Date, and Pulse would be a killer combination.

This is exactly why Fitbit needs to supply more choices.

So we each can have the choice we prefer.

It’s not that hard to do!

So I’ve been complaining about losing my Fitbit Charge 2 clock face with date, time, steps and heartbeat. Besides that I’ve had to reboot my Charge 3 a couple of times in the last few weeks. I only bought a new Fitbit because of the waterproof feature. They should have just made a Charge 2 that was waterproof. It seems that instead of just improving the 2, they started from scratch with the 3 and lost everything that was good about the 2. I never had any issues with the 2.

Yes I bought the 3 for the waterproof feature too. Haven’t had any issues other then the clock face.

Car, I agree. The display was cracked in two places on my Charge 2 and I could only get a Charge 3 when I “asked Santa” for one. I was hoping for better “glass” and more battery life as I assumed the display of parameters would remain the same. That did not occur prompting the long list of unhappy consumers in this thread.

Need to have an option to keep the watch on longer than two seconds. I am a paramedic and have to record times for everything we do. It’s a real hassle to have make the clock turn on.

Also need a clock option that has date and time, including seconds! Something other than the one where the seconds tick around in a circle. I want numbers for all three.

Hour : Minutes : Seconds

I must be able to look at the clock for 15-30 seconds at a time when counting respirations and heart rate.

Add the option to not have the clock face scroll through steps, heart rate, calories, etc. I just want date, time, and steps. That’s it. If I want to know the rest, I’ll tap the screen and manually scroll through.

The floor counter is horrible. It has me as climbed almost 50 floors today. I’ve actually climbed ZERO.

Quick, an excellent post. That “face” should be a separate one for folks like you.

Quick comment on clock faces: I've settled on the Charge 2 Retro, but I'd like to have the day of the week included in it.  Looking over the available faces, only one ("stacked") shows the day of the week.  As several have suggested, it would be nice to actually be able to configure the clock face by selecting which data, in which order, in a variety of selectable styles/sizes, to include.

I've accepted the fact this will never happen.

They might release a couple more watch faces...eventually, but it will never be customizable to the point you'd expect a modern smart-watch to be.

Looking at their Stock price, their floundering sales, the botched products, the fact they aren't active in this community, the fact we will never see the SPO2 sensor activated, the fact SleepScore is still in beta, the fact they have laid off large portions of their staff.... if FitBit still exists in 5 years, I'll be amazed.  They are about to join the long list of tech companies that have disappeared.

At $150, this just isn't the fitness tracker I was expecting...

I understand a new Charge HR is due soon that has a customizeable display. I don’t know if that will be able to be “backfitted” into the Charge 3

I received an email notice of two new products today. Wish they’d quit worrying about adding new products before fixing the ones they have.
