I would evenupgrade to a charge 4 (I currently have a charge 2)to get this service. I also think future models need a fall notification, although that by no means covers all. A stroke in bed would not be recorded as a fall, but one would need someone to know!

Really nice idea rickismom!!

Maybe it must to be re-thinked somehow to give more usability, but it's a brilliant idea to help many people!!!!

As a suggestion, I would add that we could add some range of "life sign". Maybe to set 0 steps in 24h it's too low.

We could configure the steps that we consider that could require an alert.

If for example someone usually have let's say between 3000-10000 steps per day, we would like to set an alarm when for one day there are less of 500 steps. Maybe just the person has a lazy day 😂.

The configuration should allow as well to set sleep hours when the alert will ignore the absence of steps.

Other alert could be that the system detects that still there are battery but there is an absence of heart rate or oxygen levels, it could means that the owner of the FITBIT has a real problem, maybe is almost dead and if we know it with an alert we could safe their life!!
