Option to turn off vibration when receiving notifications

There currently is no option to turn off vibration when receiving notifications on the versa 2. This needs to be corrected.

The Charge 3 was a very nice gift that I will probably have to return because of its extremely unpleasant “zapping” sensation. I’m quit surprised there’s no option to dampen it or turn it off. Bad planning.

I strongly agree to @Nicola2020  's point. I am a new fitbit user. I am really annoyed with the vibration option being default. My wrist has started paining already with the sensations. Provide an option to either turn it off or give mild, medium, strong vibration option as per preference to the users.

I also think it’s really annoying the vibration can’t be turned of. Why not? Why just normal or strong? That’s a very basic set up!

I previously had a Pebble smart watch that was far more better. I like the screen and the pay options now with my Versa 2, but functional with notifications, the Pebble is far more better. Fitbit you took over Pebble! Why not use those good options!

You should be able to have your phone connected and get notifications WITHOUT the vibrations

Allow setting to turn on notifications for texts or calls or calendar reminders on your Fitbit without vibration - e.g., you can check your texts in the notifications screen, but your Fitbit does not vibrate each time you receive a text.

@LizzyFitbit

but this suggestion is already posted some years ago. How do we know it will be implemented? What’s the plan? Can we see a road map somewhere?

As it stand it is not possible to receive notifications sans vibration on the Charge 5. I get a lot of messages and notifications and want to be able to check if I have received any while I'm away from my phone
It's extremely annoying to have my watch buzz every two seconds, but I don't want to fully turn off notifications.

I have "Always vibrate" disabled already, but my Charge 6 still vibrates for every email or text message (WhatsApp) I receive.

I'd really appreciate the option to disable vibration for specific types of notifications (e.g. text messages) while still being able to review them in the Notifications app on the watch and avoid getting my phone out of my pocket. Other types (e.g. calendar notifications) should still be able to vibrate the watch.

As far as I can tell this isn't possible today, hence voting for this feature request.
