Permanent heart rate display during workout

As a workout enthusiast I would like to view my heart rate on my Charge HR throughout my workout without having to hit the side button.  I would like to see an option that can be set to "keep display on during workouts".

My post was the original comment and I get notifications each time someone
else posts a comment. On top of the lack of flexibility in the options, I
developed a skin rash under the band and had to send the Charge HR back for
a refund. How do I stop receiving these notifications? I don¹t want to block
FitBit because I have a FitBit one now. Suggestions please?

Again, Fitbit, what do you say? Have you noticed the number of posts in
this thread where folks have stated they are going to return theirs? For
you folks that frequent social media, you may want to inform (warn)
potential customers about this!

Awesome! But I dont' like the way that the fitbit calculates zones. It uses the 220-age approach that can vary hugely depending on your fitness level.

If they could implement better Heart Rate max and zone calculations based on this idea to calculate using fitbit data, it would be totally awesome.

But for now - for me. I seem to either be "too low" or above my max 😞

constantly displaying heart rate on demand is what I assumed Charge HR would be able to do.

From reading the comment, I can see that I am not the only one.

Charge HR is not only capable of measuring my heart rate constantly it is already doing that. Data is already being recorded to the device. It would be unwise/unethical to make this feature into a Premium plan only feature or available only on the most expensive devices.

I bought the Charge HR to replace my Polar chest strap as I expected the Fitbit to provide me with real time heart rate during my exercise. I am ver dissatisfied that it is not so. I think that's is very simple to do with a change in the app software.
PLEASE. MAKE THIS CHANGE !!!

I would also like to see the HR continously displayed.  I have a heart defect and have to stay below 141 BPM and checking it while exercising in a class is not easy.

Thanks

have you noticed the fit bit hr is now available in pink? maybe that will take your mind off the fact that the device does not work worth a s___. If you're monitoring this forum fit bit, take note: we are not interested in cosmetics, we want continuous HR display, period. Get It?

I would also like to be able to have the HR be displayed all of the time when in exercise mode. Make it an option - not required for everyone.

I was able to have HR displayed in my smartphone, for the entire 30'
workout, selecting the "always connected" option and of course, changing the
setting on the phone so that the display screen does not turn off. I had
tried this before and did not work all the time. Has to test it more to see
if it is a solution. Of course, you have to remember and deselect the
"always connected" after the workout is over, otherwise your battery
consumption will go up.

I would love to be able to keep the screen on to track timed parts of my workouts such as planks, rest periods, etc. I would gladly sacrifice a day or so of battery life to be able to have this as an option. I do not want to revert to my g-shocks during my workouts, because the Blaze is supposed to be a fitness tracking watch. How can you actively track your workouts, when your screen is not always visible? This NEEDS to be an option moving forward..

I would like to have an 'always on' option for the screen.

Yes, this will be a great feature.

The Blaze should give users the choice for an always on dim screen and for the screen to stay on during exercising.

I would like a screen that always shows time and HR.  Weather I am working out or not.

just recieved a fitbit blaze for mothers day.  My polar was 20 years old and had continuous heart rate display.  I relied on this to gauge my intensity.  Very dissappointed that this is not a feature of the fitbit blaze.  It is annoying to have to tap a couple of times to see current heart rate. miss my polar even if it was 20 year old, i miss that feature.

fitbit obviously doesn't want to make this simple software change to provide an option to allow continuous heart rate during exercise mode.

I have purchased a Garmin, which can show continuous heart rate.  I will try to sell my fitbit.

I am recovering after heart ailment and my doc recommends me to exercise within a certain range, Charge HR is great, if only I can view the heart rate continuously. I understand that Fitbit is trying to promote its product by saving power by not displaying continuously, but they should provide it as an option just like tap and view is an option. If Fitbit really wants conserve battery they can opt to show the display only 3 times a day and advertise they have battery life of 60 days 😀.

I would think they will gain a market share by making it an option. Please vote for this enhancement

It would be nice to be able to glance at the fitbit and see your HR without having to press the button each time.

Thanks 😃
