Permanent heart rate display during workout

As a workout enthusiast I would like to view my heart rate on my Charge HR throughout my workout without having to hit the side button.  I would like to see an option that can be set to "keep display on during workouts".

I agree, option for continuous HR monitoring.
Is why I bought this thing. The charge HR.

Oh... and vote for the firmware change!  There has not been any response from the manufacturer though.  Smiley Sad  Thank you again!

Scroll to top of page.  It is in the right side corner.

It isn't false advertising @raphaekg.  The FitBit does continuous, automatic heart rate tracking.  It stores the data and syncs that with your phone and online.  It just won't show you on the display what your heart rate is automatically without you requesting it.

What I don't understand is that advertisements for Purepulse (which is a feature advertised as available on the Charge HR) indicate that it is continuous, automatic heart rate tracking. It seems like, if you have to press a button or flick your risk to see the stored heartrate, that's not exactly "automatic."  This forum seems to encourage people to request or vote for a new feature, but it sounds like this automatic display is supposed to already be available on the HR. Am I missing something?

I often pull mine up and my heart rate will be blank. Since I'm still alive I'm not sure why it does that but it happens frequently. I have mine set on automatic so hopefully this can be fixed.

Very disappointed that this feature isn't already implemented. I bought this in large part to replace my dying chest strap HRM. Please add this to the next firmware revision!

I thought continuous heart rate display was a given feature during exercise so that the wearer can pace their effort accordingly and I wanted this for my spinning and other gym classes. Please guys lets get this upgrade sorted quickly.

A lot of new posts, however, the vote number doesn't seem to change much.  I don't really know if it will make a difference but we need to try.  Avatar, top left!  Thank you!

We need to be able to lock the screen. My workouts get paused.

The whole point of continuous heart rate tracking is to be able to see it while in a cardio workout. Please have this be an option for people who are serious about training.

How many votes are needed to get the attention or feedback from the Official Forum Moderator or Product Development team to get a response as to whether this idea will be taken up for development?

I don't think they are monitoring what we say.

Please it's super important to have the option to keep the screen of the blaze on as needed, at least during workouts so you can see your stats. Another thing is to also improve the precision, sometimes I think there's a bit of lag.

Now the Apple Watch does exactly what the Fitbit blaze needs to do, the blaze needs to have preset text responses, so when working out you can just send them. Fitbit, you better be waiting to unveil everything at once, coz if you are not getting ready, we just can't see it, we're all don't me for. Although Fitbit will not go away, it will definitely lose momentum, and fade

I, too, would like to see continuous HR, if not on the FitBit, at least on my cellphone app.

The blaze needs to be stronger as a fitness tracker like the surge. A screen that stays on during an exercise routine is crucial. It would also be extremely helpful to be able to see all the important stats on one screen instead of having to wake the watch up and then flip back and forth trying to see calories burned, heart rate and time exercised. The surge does this beautifully, so I know it is possible.

I wish it were possible to have HR visible on the Charge HR display for the duration of a workout. It's annoying to constantly press the button, to see if I am in the zone. Thank you

Hi there! Tha's an awesome request since it would be helpful to have the heart rate visible when doing workouts that need busy hands like riding a bike.

Thanks for your participation my friend!

To use the fitbit heartrate for "fast excercise" I need to see it displayed continuosly.

The only way I can do this at the moment is to have my android phone synchronised and in my field of view. This means its fine on a running or rowing machine, (tape the phone to the machine) but useless for jogging.

It seems ridiculous not to be able to set the heartrate to the quick view or continously displayed.

Even if battery life were reduced to a couple of hours that would be fine as mine goes on charge when I jump in the shower after exercising.

A lot of people have mentioned this, and to be honest I don't understand why it wasn't included as a fundemental part of the firmware for the charge HR !

Please add my vote. I want to just see my heart rate when I am excercising. I can look at steps, etc. later on when I am done.

Would like the option to keep the screen active when running/excercising to see time/distance etc at a glance without having to press buttons

It doesn't give you want you want to see (Time, distance, HR, ect ... ) when you flick(pronate) or raise your arm 😕
