Permanent heart rate display during workout

As a workout enthusiast I would like to view my heart rate on my Charge HR throughout my workout without having to hit the side button.  I would like to see an option that can be set to "keep display on during workouts".

On the fitbit charge HR it would be nice to show your heart rate the entire time you're in exercise mode. really anything that you want to see the entire time you're in exercise mode like distance, time, heart rate.

As with here https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Requests/Heart-Rate-for-Quick-Veiw/idi-p/903601 and here https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Requests/Customizable-Quick-View-Steps-Distance-Etc/idi-p/84... using Quick View for this would save battery instead of having the display on all the time while in exercise mode.

Also I'm not sure how often updates sync with your phone but audio cues to heart rate zones would be good so it's hands and eyes free.

e.g. When in exercise mode, once your average heart rate has been in Heart Rate Zone "Fat burn" for more than 1 minute, trigger optional audio cue "Heart Rate Zone, Fat burn". Also add optional vibration with display showing current heart rate on Heart Rate Zone threshold.

Don't want to have to push any buttons or turn wrist to look at watch....just look at app & see hr..

+1 from me. This would be a hugely useful feature, I'm amazed it does do it, and it would be so simple to implement

Is it possible to add heart rate (in relatively big font) in the activity tracker screen. That way you can not only see your distance progress, speed etc but also your heart rate. Mio heart rate tracker does that which is quite useful.

Agree!!!

The only reason I want a FitBit is for a continuous _display_ of heartrate during a workout. I have no use for any other feature.

I agree with this suggestion I think it very helpful and should be implemented as soon as reasonably possible.  It helps you monitor and adjust your rythm.  very helpful and probably there should be an option to vibrate if you are exceeding a pre-determined level or reaching you absolute maximum.  This can prevent from over exercising

Totally agree. We need this.

Moreover it is annoying the fact that even if you use the tap option to show the heart rate, it is useless because when you make the wrist move to see the watch, band automatically shows you the time and then it will cycle through the non desirable option which is the HR.

The HR is what adds value to the charge HR but with its current configuration is very impractical.

I fully agree, there should be another option on the dashboard to keep display on while working out.  I don't care if my battery dies a little quicker I don't want to have to fiddle with my fitbit while I'm busy focusing on my work out.  Come on Fitbit it's simple bit of programming.

Add a feature to keep hr monitor visable continuously when workout mode is on.  It should be a setting on the dashboard.  Come on folks!!

If you are using the watch display, and just slide it to the dedicated heart rate display, it toggles back to clock after a few seconds.  This is a change from how it behaved before the latest update, and several people have suggested either reverting to where it doesn't default back, or better yet, to make it user selectable as to what the default display is.  Please listen to all these user requests, and return it back to the way it was or make it user selectable.  I'm ready to return my Surge since this update. I used to love it, and now I hate it for this reason.

Can Fiitbit add the feature to Display heart beat rate during exercise? So we can monitor HR by simple watching the Fitbit during exercise?
It is important to always display heart beat rate during workout. Pls add it

Fitbit should seriously consider using e-ink in their next display if battery life is an issue with this one. This is an absolute must for Fitbit to whip polar's butt

If battery is an issue with the screen being on then perhaps give us the option to to default to HR or timer when tilting our wrist during an exercise session.
Fully support to add this option I don't mind recharge after each exercise c

The reason I spent the extra money and bought the HR was so that I could check my heart rate constantly. I bought it when I was diagnosed with a heart valve issue and was told to keep my heart rate down until I could have surgery. I had open-heart surgery in July and throughout my recoevery and rehab I am excercising daily and need to get my heart rate up, but not beyond a certain rate. So, it's important for me to be constantly checking my heart rate. It would be much more convenient to be able to just look at my wrist during a workout, versus having to press the button or tap to see it each time. PLEASE make this an option.

Fully agree hope they can add this feature soon

I'd love to see a display of heartrate on my iOS device when in exercise mode. It shows distance, pace, and time. Simply add heart rate and the current zone and I'd be SOOO happy! Obvious feature IMHO.

I would love and I believe much needed to get the biofeed back from an option to continuously display the heart rate. so i can stay within the desired zone. This would offer the info needed for those with heart issues so not to be too stenous, a way to stay at the targetted heart rate zone  needed for weight loss, or cardio with just a glance and not break stride in the excersise routine.

this option, as most buy the fitbit charge hr specifically for the needed and/or desired need for the instant heart rate feedback for many issues.

I, personally forgo the interchangable flex band as the heartrate feedback was more inpotant than stylish interchangeable bands.

I can stress the much need for this option, and hope its in the next update.

thanks for an overall great product, however seems to lack, a simple option that would complete the hr line.

plus +1 for this option

thanks for your time in reading

I agree, i bought the 'charge hr' particularly to get heart rate feed back, it would be awesome to have an option to choice the heart rate feature with a continue on/disply mode.
