Phone number to recover/reset password

Lost the Password to my account and no longer have access to the email address used to create the account,  why did Fitbit not build in a secondary method for password reset for instance with cellphone number connected to the account?

Unbelievable from such a well established Company!

I would like to connect my cell phone with an old email address, that I don't have anymore, to be able to recover my password
