Possibility for a smaller SURGE model - Surge mini perhaps?

I purchased a Fitbit Surge two weeks ago and was really excited to try it out... until I actually wore it. The Surge is way too big and bulky for me personally. In addition to being visually unappealing, it was also extremely uncomfortable to wear. I can't imagine trying to wear that thing to bed, let alone 24/7 (I never take my Fitbit products off unless I am showering/swimming). I lasted less than one day before I exchanged the Surge and downgraded to a Charge HR, which is still a little uncomfortable but less so.

I want to suggest a product similar to the Surge but with a slightly smaller display. A Surge Mini perhaps? I'd love to use the Surge features (GPS tracking especially) without having a giant brick on my wrist.

Let's not make this a gender thing.

I'm certain that there are lots of smaller men out there (Such as myself) who'd love a smaller tracker because we have thin wrists, or men who have to wear a long sleave shirt and who don't like a bulky watch catching on it.

There's also a market for kids\teens. Who are smaller by the nature of their age.

We all want our children to be active and to get into good health habits early on in their lives. Yet there are so few products aimed at under 18s.

On the down side, a smaller device would no doubt be more fragile, more epxensive, and have a lower battery life. Which is probably why Fitbit went for the size that they did.

Hi, I to would just like to chime in. I am interested in all the features of the surge. Particularly heart rate. But I would like it in a size no wider then the Alta, frankly thinner band desired. I have worked my way now through a few models. They are to wide and after a few days begin to really bother me.  Appreciate your time and consideration. Love the product, love all the features. Just need not want a girly girl size!
