Powered Down/Restart Issue

The button on the USB end of the charging cord is in a poor location. I COULD NOT figure out how to power my Charge 6 back on. Thought it was busted. Troubleshooting description of the location is not clear. I thought it meant on the charging end. Image customer service sent me was very clear, and should be in the package instructions.

My fitbit charge 6 goes from 100%charged to O as soon as unplugged and screen then goes black.   Cleaned contacts, rebooted numerous times, and restarted to no avail.  Just got this as a Christmas present to replace my other one in which the watch connections to the band broke.   This unit has been poor replacement.   Spent most of yesterday going on line to try to fix this.
