Another reason for turning off the Charge 6 is that whenever I fly on a commercial airline, the tracker gets thoroughly confused. On a recent mid-day flight from Las Vegas to San Francisco (same time zone), the app reported 11,000+ steps and 0 hours of more than 250 steps. Similar thing happened on the return flight, except both step count and hours of > 250 steps were both zero. Scrolling through the display on the Charge 6 showed the same numbers. I would gladly sacrifice RHR and sleep metrics to keep the activity metrics accurate.
There are definitely times when you have to leave your tracker behind, and everyone is aware that letting a lithium battery completely drain is terrible for it's longevity. Please help us keep our trackers for longer and reduce e-waste, thanks!
