Rearrange or customize Charge 3 & 4 apps/stats view/Today

I'd really like the ability to rearrange the built in apps on my Charge 3. The app I'll use most often is the Weather, which is on the last page! I have to swipe a bunch to get to it. The next one would be the timer app, which is on the second page. The most frustrating part is that on some of the help pages, the images show the apps in a different order! I've spent ages trying to figure out how to adjust it.

And I’m not a jogger- where did that come from!?!

It is ridiculous that this issue has continued and you guys still have no plans to fix it! I will never buy another Fitbit and I will urge anyone who asks about it not to either. You are a company moving backwards with your technology and I will assume all of your new watches will have stupid restrictions like this one even though earlier models had the function. That’s what really bugs me, you have the ability to do this because it was possible on the charge 2. There are so many stats displaying on my charge 3 that I don’t use. It’s so funny that I can’t take the stairs count off my watch because it doesn’t even count properly, and no, don’t move this comment to the ‘incorrect counting of stairs thread’! Let us customise our **ahem** watches!

Hi @Rachel219, thanks for explaining why you would like to have this option. I've moved it into a similar suggestion which has been updated as "Under Consideration". You can learn more about here. Keep adding your suggestions!

There are plenty of Fitbit charge 3 clients asking for this, many started asking for it a year ago. What, exactly, do you need in order to do more than thank us for the suggestion and tell us that you wonder what others think!?! This is the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. I’ll never buy a Fitbit again. (Others are saying that as well...)

With every new tracker, we have to plead with the developers to add the ability to rearrange or edit.

Why?

By now the developers should know that this should be a must.

What I see on my wrist is decidedly different from settings. What I see is: steps - a man (since it is showing XX/250 I assume it is hourly movement) - heart rate - resting heart rate - distance - a flame (calories?) - stairs - activity - sleep - weight - water - and finally - weekly activity goal.
I sure would like to change the order, and I do not need to see resting heart rate and weight on my wrist at all.

Your xx/250 mine says xx of 250 is the current step count for the hour, once 250 is hit this should change to a graph of active hours.

With the exception of calories all my icons match the dashboard. I hve one icon. A non filled in water drop that simply says Day 3. I have no idea.

Nearly a year since the ability to rearrange order of stats on Charge 3 has been suggested. Over 1,700 people have requested this feature--yet nothing from Fitbit. I can reorder the stat order on my Charge 2; but not on the Charge 3 I purchased to gain water-resistant ability. I don't use my Charge 3; can't conveniently see the stats I desire. Nearly a year of Fitbit not providing a feature on an updated product that existed on the previous version of that same product; absolutely atrocious. I have lost my patience; I'm done.

Ditto.

I find that my sleep is useless. It’s so sensitive that I get broken sleep every night indicating that I get 3,4 or 5 hours of sleep each nite. Charge 2 did not do this!!

Me, too!!!!
I don’t use my Charge 3 either. I was incredibly disappointed in the product. I’m looking into getting the Inspire HR, which is smaller and doesn’t have the stair counter (which isn’t accurate). Because of the size, I assume it only shows one stat at a time.? Can someone who owns the Inspire HR confirm or deny this? I want to make sure I’m making an informed decision.

I too wondered about the Inspire, but I have seen many complaints about its inaccurate step count. Personally, I found the Charge2 very inaccurate, and the Charge3 if anything worse. I returned both for a full refund. I love my One and dread the day when it dies, as I suspect no wrist-worn Fitbit is accurate.

It doesn't count steps when I walk the dog and hold the leash in my right hand (my dominant hand).  I  miss the Charge 2 which broke.

Yes, you can delete apps

Nope; you can’t rearrange order to customize the scroll-through stat screens for steps, flights, heart rate, calories, weight, etc.

Please can you allow us to reorder the apps?

The weather is actually quite useful for me and use this more than any of the others but I have to scroll through to it every time 😞

I agree. So far I am really disappointed with the charge 3 - it has less flexibility than the charge 2 and is overly complicated. I want to simplify my display but tbh I'm tempted to just return this.

Agree. I am finding the charge 3 really frustrating as it's got too much junk cluttering the screen that I won't use!

I would return-FitBit is totally unresponsive about this. It seems they have just moved in to the Inspire!

I like the new look but I would like to be able to access all the items from my phone even if they're not on the Today page. I don't want my weight or women's health so easily seen by others who might be around. Let me keep things private but still be able to access them from my phone. Maybe there is a way to do it but I haven't figured it out. And let me rearrange the order of the features without having to delete and add them. Thanks.

Am really sad that the charge 2 replacement of a charge 3 provided a step back in ability to customize.  The features I miss:

-  Quick view to show time and favorite state when flipping wrist without pressing button

- ability to set default state - always show steps on time screan

- ability to see battery status

- ability to remove unwanted apps from watch

Press and hold the button for two seconds to access display control settings. The top pane (light bulb) controls the display trigger. Select to activate display-on-flip.

The battery level is visible on the mobile dashboard, and on the device by swiping down. Battery level is the first value displayed.

Which brings up the point that there are four different settings points: long press of the button, swipe left for settings app, select Charge 3 in mobile dashboard, and select gear in upper right corner of the web dashboard. Each of these controls options which cannot be set by any of the others.

Exactly, right? How does an updated product not include the customization of the previous product it replaced? It truly is ridiculous; Fitbit doesn’t respond and clearly does not seem to care. I’ve been loyal for years; I’m now done with Fitbit.
