Rearrange or customize Charge 3 & 4 apps/stats view/Today

I'd really like the ability to rearrange the built in apps on my Charge 3. The app I'll use most often is the Weather, which is on the last page! I have to swipe a bunch to get to it. The next one would be the timer app, which is on the second page. The most frustrating part is that on some of the help pages, the images show the apps in a different order! I've spent ages trying to figure out how to adjust it.

I used this feature on my Charge 2 to set up my stats in the exact order I wanted to see them.  It was very intuitive and I was able to easily reorder them until I was satisfied. This was very important to me since there are some apps & stats I don't use. And you have placed them in front of ones I use thus making quick looks impossible and frustrating.  I am very disappointed that this feature is not available in my just received 3.  I had assumed this basic feature would be available on the latest and greatest device.

Ability to customize stats for each clock face, be able to edit order of stats and ability to make them visible (this includes battery life). At this point Fitbit is putting in some cool excercise features, thumbs up for that but if you go so far for all these features it’s a little annoying that customizability with the interface is so minimal. Predetermined interfaces and that’s it I know you’re better than that (if there’s bugs that make this the issue I get it, people who code don’t get enough empathy for how much work it takes to do simple commands on hardware with zero issues, everyone is extremely critical these days expecially with tech). Put a settings option when you are on the clock tab, yes it can differ per clock face buts that’s ok. Pretty sure this was a feature with the Alta I had years ago. I always think new products should be more convenient for the user not less, especially when the solution doesn’t require you to buy something ie. Headphone jack missing=buy our Bluetooth earbuds. Also make a setting for the vibration to be off, not just normal and strong. Great thing is that all this can be solved with a software update.

I just got my new Fitbit charge 3 and this was this first thing I tried to do! I loved being able to remove and rearrange things in my charge HR. I agree with others that this feature is one that should not have been overlooked when releasing the newest Fitbit. I look forward to Fitbit taking out suggestions and updating the charge 3 so we may all edit the apps locations and which ones are displayed.

I 100% agree with having the ability to rearrange your charge 3 apps

The ability to customize the stats that we can view is a critical core function and it is available on older models such as my Charge HR. If it is not available on my Charge 3, especially after reading all of the feedback in multiple threads, I will return my device for a refund and find another tracker with these very simple basic functions. The failure to fix this critical flaw is amazingly tone deafening.

I completely agree! I just upgraded to the Charge 3 from the Charge 2, and am very disappointed to learn that I can not customize the display of the tracker. I do not want to see stats like weight, calories, and water consumed on my tracker. I don’t need the focus on weight and calories. On the Charge 2 I could choose which of these items would be visible on the tracker.  Please make this possible!  Thank you.

It's time to return the Charge 3 since Fitbit is ignoring these threads.  Maybe if enough people return the Charge 3, Fitbit will begin to listen!

I agree-returning the FitBit Charge3 as the company does not seem to want to help or even bother to answer in regard to this problem. Apparently they do NOT care! Fortunately for me I still have my old AltaHR and Charge2 in my desk to use instead. I’ll be saving my refund $ until I read they have corrected this egregious error on their part.

Just got my charge 3 today - first thing I tried to do was reorder / remove the apps hence I am here now.

Please add this facility ASAP.

Would be an amazing feature to be able to rearrange, remove and otherwise edit the charge 3 to the users point like the charge 2 or Alta.

It's interesting that all the moderators have to say is let's see what other people say just waiting instead of making it a actual priority.

Sorting & reordering stats and apps will be very useful. Please add this feature to roadmap

I have just 'upgraded' from Charge 2 to the Charge 3 and am really disappointed to not find I can customise the actual device (not the app) like I am used to. I want to be able to see stats that are important to me, just like all the other users who've taken the time to vote & comment on this thread. Moderators...please help us!

I am not interested to see my weight, calories burned, stepsand water drunk. All I want to know is my heart rate and floors climbed. I also never use the weather app. Thank

+1. Everyone uses the fitbit in different ways and wants to show/hide what they use most (for example, i only want to see steps/heart rate/floors).  Please bring this functionality back!

+1 for the ability to rearrange and hide stats on the charge 3 face. Miss this feature from my Alta.

I agree with the many people here, the ability to rearrange the tiles would be greatly appreciated. Like another user stated, it would be nice to have the weather app on the first page when swiping left. Please add this!

I returned my Charge 3 for a refund. It was with regret, as I loved its elegance and the diamond clear display. However I could not accept being awarded 4000 phantom steps before I had even left the house, (discussed in another thread) nor am I willing to let Fitbit dictate to me what stats I should see, and in what order. I have now ordered the new Garmin Instinct, which appears to offer endless customisable options. There are 12 watch faces, and on each of these every element can be swapped out for another. It is a sporty looking hybrid smart and outdoors watch, so nowhere near as beautiful as the Charge 3, but handsome is as handsome does, IMO.

Love how these clowns send us to their forums to upvote different requests and then never change anything worth changing.

Latest update ruined the one clock face that was usable.

Thanks.

I would also really love to be able to decide which stats show on my Charge 3 and which do not.  I have to scroll through all of them in order to see the ones I really need to see.  Also, privacy is a concern for me.  I really don't want someone to be able to look at my device when I am charging it and maybe walk away from my desk and see all the stats.

I'd love this feature as well.

Please allow the ability to customize removal of tiles such as weight and water on watch. Also would be extremely helpful to have weather and other settings more customizable.

I completely agree with all of these posts. I’m finding myself disappointed switching from the Charge 2 to the Charge 3 because I’m constantly scrolling through menus to find what I actually want to see and use

Agree with all the above. I dont want my weight and water levels showing up on display, there should be a way to omit these.

Agree 100%. The Charge 2 has this ability so should the Charge 3!!
