Samsung Health & Fitbit integration

Can we please have something that syncs our fit bit stats with our S Health stats? It's annoying to have multiple fitness platforms especially now that androids are becoming more and more popular as are fitness apps. It would be nice to do it all from one place.

I'm debating weather to get the fitbit blaze or the samsung gear s2. I love the show health app, it shows my macros which is a plus unlike the fitbit app. I know the blaze would be more accurate and i love that it monitors heart rate 24/7 unlike the Gear s2. Please make this happen so i can buy the fitbit blaze. Otherwise if someone has the gear s2 how do you like it?

I also would like to be able to upload my S Health data into fitbit. Why own a fitbit if I can't?

I have been online for days and this is a huge topic with many people.

I'm all for connecting Fitbit with S Health. My son lives in AK & we both used S Health challenges when I visited. I can't carry my phone at work but do use my Fitbit. Would like to be able to continue our challenges from MI!

How many comments are needed to make this happen?

Love my fitbit tracker and aria scale, but unless there is integration with the S Health soon I am going to have to get something else. Sorry, I really don't want to change, but I've waited a long time already.

Have you tried the app Fit and Healthy by Jason Lo, it provides syncing
with fitbit to S Health, with some optional in app purchases, check it
out

Since my last post I have decided to ditch my fitbit and move on to a
Samsung gear s2. I'm happy I did. While a little more expensive it's
integration with S health makes it worth it.

That will be my next move as well...unbelievable how so many apps communicates with S.Health and Fitbit cannot! I just joined a new gym with some hi-tech equipment and there apps is a partner with Shealth and so many other. Disappointing...

Time for fitbit to join the rest of the world. Unless they like being behind the curve.

Riverview-

I looked into the Gear S2 based on your comment.  I'd prefer to have a clip on as I'm not crazy about wearing a band & some of my shorts don't have pockets.  Suggestions?  Definitely keeping the Samsung phone!

I've had my Charge HR for 7 months. I just got my Gear Fit 2 for free with my New phone. I would love to still be in challenges with  my FitBit friends. What else needs to be done to get this idea to happen? There are 13 pages of people saying this needs to happen. Lets make it happen FitBit!!!

Jut got the GF2 as well with my new phone. I have the Fitbit Surge, but have liked the look and feel of the GF2 more, as well as access to S-Health. Hate to lose contact with my fitbit frineds just because data cant be transferred back and forth.

Given up.

It's quite obvious for those of us that have followed this forum for a long period of time that "Fitbit" has no intention of allowing for the sharing of data between Fitbit and S-Health.

For whatever reason Fitbit is not ever going to provide this functionality.  It's been requested for years  with not so much as an official statement about it.

I for myself am giving up on Fitbit, as a product, as a service and as a company.  I'll take my business elsewhere.  Whatever anyone else choses, I hope it works for you.

I agree,

Perhaps this is why fitbit's slice of the wearables market in 2015 took a
nosedive, dropping from 38 percent in 2014 to 27 percent last year.

If you don't pay attention to your customers then you loose.

It's true, if they dont meet the people where they are at, then you'll lose
out to those that do.

I have the fitbit charge HR, received the Gear Fit 2. Cannot stand wearing them both at the same time, especially when one is water safe, and the other is not. I would like to continue tracking in fitbit app without having to wear the band. Is this a possibility?

Just like everyone else, I'd like to express my support for this idea.  I recently switched from Apple technology to Samsung, and have all the gadgets (Gesr S2, tablet, Galaxy Note 7, heavy Chrome user).

I own a Fitbit Charge HR and love the app.  When I was all Apple, I loved the fact that I could wear either my Apple watch OR my Charge HR, and know that all my activity was tracked and synced with both Health and Fitbit apps.  I thought this would be the case with Samsung/Android technology, and clearly I was wrong to assume that...

I would absolutely LOVE for Fitbit to sync with S Health, and look forward to it.  However, if it takes too much longer, I may have to breakdown and buy a Gear Fit or a Google Fit device....which means giving up Fitbit and probably never going back to it....

So please Fitbit, make it happen!!

I'm really just trying to get my S Health data into the fitbit app as I've recently purcahsed a fitbit and it'd be great if I could get all my previous weight and step records into the Fitbit database. I guess this integration would be able to do that whilst having all the other functions for everyone else in this thread.

Yes, Please integrating Fitbit with S Health, Apple Health App, and Google Fit would benefit many Fitbit users also maybe bring more Fitbit users. Please do this at least before 2017...

I gave up on Fit But and I encourage all others on this forum and the rest
of the world to do so as well. Just get a Samsung Gear and it integrates so
well.

Good bye Fit Bit.
