Samsung Health & Fitbit integration

Can we please have something that syncs our fit bit stats with our S Health stats? It's annoying to have multiple fitness platforms especially now that androids are becoming more and more popular as are fitness apps. It would be nice to do it all from one place.

I have been a loyal FitBit user for years.  I am on my third one and have got them for friends.  They were so cutting edge, but now they have lost it.  AND they lost the Glucose data I was tracking.  I do not think you can even track it any more.  So I have given up on Fitbit and am shopping for a different system.  Goodbye Fitbit.

This Feature was requested over a Year ago and still the feature/ability is not available.

Really wish I had found this out before spending days looking at prices and reviews on different Health Trackers, to finally settle on the FitBit Charge HR.

After spending $150 on a device the counts steps and tracks my heart rate I never expected to be limited on how I could obtain that data. I'll be returning these to the store tomorrow, and will make sure to do more research before buying something else.

I can't believe you're making me register just to post this comment. Why is this app not a thing? I am posting on something that is a freaking year old? If you can sync with MyFitnessPal, why can't you sync with Samsung? Has life really come to this?! This is the worst first world problem I've ever experienced. My goodness you'd think something this trivial would be easy to fix. But go ahead take your time fitbit!

OK, so many people getting irritated or mad at Fitbit, but it could be an
issue with Samsung!
Has anyone had success contacting Samsung for this issue?

Hard to think Samsung's the issue when there a load of partner apps linked to Shealth already...and fitbit is one of the biggest activity trackers at the moment. It just makes sense to utilise Shealth as it'stands a really good health app and keep on improving on what they can offer.

I do understand that S Health has a lot of partner apps, but so does
Fitbit. In fact, my biggest partner is with myfitnesspal.com and I was
disappointed that Samsung doesn't connect to that one, either.

At the moment my fitbit charge seems to be falling apart at the seams, literally! If it does pack up, I don't think I will replace it but will get something that's totally synced to my Samsung and Shealth. This issue has been on request for to long now.

I was gearing up to buy a Fitbit Blaze, however I believe I've decided to get Samsung Gear instead.

Please let fitbit and S health work together so when synced both apps show the same info, this would make my S7 edge and fitbit perfect,
Thank you for reading

Does reviewed by Moderator (which this says) mean that somebody at Fitibt has actually seen this? I've been waiting for this feature as I don't always carry my phone around with me so numbers are always off. I'd love for it to sync. I've been thinking of switching to another company (not just because of this feature, but they have a feature that I want/like - and have for awhile now) but the fact they sync with S-Health is a huge plus.

Looks like i will replace my fitbit with something non fitbit. And i was just looking at the Blaze. Kind of sad. I really was looking just to track my hr more. But as a diabetic trying to lose weight and be far more active. I bought a scale that sync with S Health and a blood pressure cuff. So now i need to find a new tracker. Goodbye fitbit. From someone that had the fitbit tracker to the fitbit one, fitbit flex to the fitbit surge.

I'm still following this forum despite having passed along my fitbit due to
lack of SHealth support in the hope that it does get sorted and make the
Blaze a real option. In the mean time Fitbit / Samsung. bah humbug

LOL... so that's all that Reviewed by a moderator means on this community? A moderator saw the idea, didn't actually do anything about it, and they just leave weird words of encouragement about how great of an idea it is without actually doing anything about it? **ahem** Fitbit. You're slacking HARD. If Samsung devices (Which make up more than 30% of Android users in Canada Alone (Can't even imagine what it is worldwide)) can't sync with Fitbit devices. What the heck are they going to do? The Android users deserve to be able to use your devices with the apps they want. You guys are really locked up tight. Stop doing that.

Again, feeling really frustrated!! Started a running plan with Shealth...1st attempt at 10km (really awesome plan with coaching and running prompts all the way), but, because I am a sales rep, and have a work mobile as well, do not want to walk around with 2 phones...so, would love my fitbit's step activity, sleep monitoring, to sync into Shealth on my S6. On his flip side, would love my running plan data, food/water/caffeine consumption to sync into fitbit. But, unfortunately, not possible. At the moment looking at saving up for a Samsung gear, if integration between the 2 fitness apps does not happen....SOON!! 😈

I just received a Fitbit as a Mother's Day gift. So far it's great. It's difficult to keep my S7 in my pocket to track my steps I thought this would be a way to track more accurately. If this could sync with S health it would be great. I have a treadmill that also has an app but that doesn't sync with anything either. It's frustrating trying to track your health when companies don't work together. These things are for convenience but are quickly becoming something else to maintain separately which defeats the convenience aspect. Please figure out how to sync with S health.

fitbit will eventually fade, as has already been established. They refuse a simple customer request. Unfortunately, I too, am going to look at other hardware that will sync with S Health. It's really sad, as I really like the fitbit app and their devices. Garmin....here I come

I have brought this to the S-Health app people too and gotten nowhere, you
would think someone would have made an app to sync them by now.

Please integrate s health with fitbit. If my fitbit is out of battery when i am running, i want it to sync data from somewhere. If not shealth than please make fitbit app use phone sensors like google fit as that can be helpful too.

Check out the app Fit and Healthy, it is an app that syncs some of the
fitbit information into S Health. It is relatively new, so I expect more
to come.

@AndieL, could you link to this app? Searching on 'Fit and Healthy' gives alot of results but i don't see the app with that concrete name.

Sad that a third party must do this, and Fitbit ignores this at the moment.
