I don't care about all this WiFi Bluetooth stuff...you can go into that later if you like .....but for now, add the simple tile to allow blodd pressure to be manually input......this is a no brainer that would only take a couple hours to add this tile back.  A very little amount of effort to make many many people happy.  I can't  imagine why this wasn't done well over a year ago.  As someone who did IT for long time, I just don't understand how you can ignore a simple needed & important change.   Whoever keeps ignoring and/or declining this literally should be fired....and that is the nicest thing I can say about that.

Forcing me to go elsewhere if this remains the status quo.

I fully agree with this post.  Even a simple manual input would be better than nothing.

An ability to log blood sugar, multiple times a day, would be very useful to me, and many other diabetics as well.

I agree but unfortunately Fitbit are too busy selling new devices so software support and upgrades are not their priority.

I already switched to Apple Watch and health, because I am tired of Fitbit, ignoring this request. They had the functionality and removed it. It is easy to add back and they refuse to do it.

This thread is getting old and pointless except to highlight how little customer feedback means to this company.  Time to move with my feet (wallet).  After 6 fitbits over the years my wife and I will be batting matching iWatches for our anniversary.  Feedback is a gift...until it stops.

Gave mine up over a year ago due to the same thing and poor reliability.

I'm thinking about a different tracker, do you know if any of the other brands have an app with panels to allow BP and/or other user defined inputs.

I feel the same way. Do you know if any brands have apps with blank panels to allow for customer selection?

Hi @jreineke and commenters - this was removed as logging BP on the dashboard was removed. I'm going to merge your request into the feature suggestion asking for a place to log BP on the Fitbit dashboard as I think that will meet your needs.

I'd like to enter my blood pressure data along with my weight into the app. I know the ionic doesn't measure bp, I have a separate monitor for that. Just would like centralized database of all my health info and the app is almost that.

We aren’t asking the Fitbit to measure either BP or BG, just provide a pane
on the dashboard that the user can customize.

A number of people have commented on this for over a year now. Adding a panel (or panels) into the app for user options should not be a major problem.

I'm not a programmer but a simple change to the app should be fairly easy.

I agree, how difficult can it be?

Considering how long we’ve been asking, and how little response we’ve received, either it is harder than we think, or Fitbit doesn’t care. The fact that the function used to exist and the fact that no one from the team ever responds...

I agree. Or they do not pay attention to the community boards

I too have been asking for the BP for some time but did get this reply 19 March. Not sure what will come of it.

For some reason I seem to receive almost every day requests from people wanting Glucose Monitoring.  From someone from the company please respond

@K4rgs it is not the app that is affected. But the whole cloud based data server. The app is simply a door way into your Fitbit account.

Why is it that only 400 people want this.

This is a big reason why it was removed .VeruVfew actiallyaused this feature.

I believe that I was one of the first individuals to comment on this topic. I originally purchased my fitbit following the report of a life being saved when a nurse noticed a fitbit on a stroke victim. The hospital allegedly was able to pinpoint the time of the stroke which enabled a successful treatment. Being an individual with a history of cardiac problems and diabetes I was very interested in fitbit offering at a minimum a log which would offer fields for blood sugar readings. Fields for blood pressure would also be useful. A product offering these fields would make it much more helpful for a person when either facing a medical crisis or a simple routine doctor's appointment. Looking at this situation from another perspective if fitbit continues to offer nothing more than new models that perform the same basic functions, I expect that you will go out of business. One horse companies do not last. Companies must continually innovete to stay relevant. If you continue to fail to address user's desires, we wil find other products that will. KEVFEB
