From the moderator's response I got the impression that the basic idea was not going to lead to an enhancement of the app.   Seeing that the basic suggestion had already been put forward, I thought others might want to bridge the gap with a separate app (or are already doing that) and give some feedback on their experience with the different blood pressue apps already out there.

I should have said

"From the moderator's response I got the impression that the basic idea was not going to lead to an enhancement of the app any time soon".

That's not intended as a negative comment, but if the suggestion has been around for several years (2017?),  it implies I might have to wait a while.    I can appreciate that there may be several technical and non-technical issues in a commercial decision to offer any new or  enhanced app.  Meanwhile, I'm looking elsewhere.

I make daily BP measurements which I save only on my BP device.  I have tried to find a way to enter them in my Charge 3 but don't find any information. Please allow tracking of manually entered blood pressure readings on Charge 3.

Hi @QVT-1794, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback with us about the option to allow tracking of manually entered blood pressure readings, this feature suggestion already exists so I’ve moved your post here as it is currently under "Reviewed by moderator" status.

PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE add manual glucose and/or blood pressure tracking!!!  I cannot, for the life of me, fathom why you can add tracking menstruation to your products but you cannot add something as critical to our health, mortality, and quality of life as blood glucose tracking.  Why must we continue to track it separately and have to manually combine data every time we go to the doctor?????

People have been requesting this for years—wouldn’t hold my breath.

I know. I perused the archives. Even as a woman, I think it is absolutely absurd to have a module to track "women's health", aka menstruation/periods, but we can't get a module to track something as critical as blood glucose, no matter how much we beg. I couldn't find anything where users were begging for a module to track their periods, though. It seems obvious to me it is a lie when they say they care about and listen to the needs and desires of their users.

I was a Fitbit user for years.
At the beginning this feature was available, then they removed it. No matter how many users have been begging for this feature to come back, Fitbit seems to be ignoring the request.

To me it is clear that Fitbit does not care about the needs of their clients, so I have switched devices.

If Fitbit doesn’t change with the times and change to incorporate features people want, more and more people will move on.

Fitbit seems to just be interested in releasing a new style of watch every year instead of improving features that can be easily added and focusing on improving and tracking health.

I would change device manufacturers if I could find another that works with my phone, tracks sleep, and has continuous heart rate monitoring at a reasonable price. This is my first Fitbit. I used Samsung for years, but no longer use a Samsung phone.

I have been using the fitbit dashboard to track my meals, exercise etc... I think the dashboard needs a way to allow people who are diabetic or anyone to impute their checked daily blood sugar for tracking after each meal.  This would allow diabetics away to easily see their progress in conjunction with your eating and exercise. I'm not suggesting the fitbit be a glucose meter. Only an upgrade to the app dashboard to add a tracking place for one to record their BSL for an easy visual of their progress.

Hi @SalvatoreM, thanks for explaining why you would like to have this option on the Fitbit Dashboard. I've moved it into a similar suggestion which has a lot of votes. As the more votes and comments an idea has the more visibility and momentum it gains. You can learn more about how Fitbit decides what suggestions get released in our FAQs.

Fitbit is now charging$$$ for a prime service. Is this what will happen to our suggestions? Bwcause if that is where fitbit is going my next watch will be a phone watch that does everything I ask of it.Sent from my T-Mobile 4G LTE Device

I have been following this suggestion thread, literally for years. This was the capability the app used to have, so there is no technological barrier. Fitbit just doesn’t think it’s very important and I think the smart thing is to vote with your feet. When my Charge gives up the ghost, I’ll be moving, too.

Please add blood pressure log widget to dashboard. Add ability to feed (not manually) bluetooth BP monitor readings into this log.

I am a diabetic and would love to see a feature for tracking blood sugars and or insulin throughout the day.  I personally know a few diabetics that use fit bit that would enjoy this feature as well.

Since TactioHealth app is going away Jan 31, 2020, can anyone suggest a valid replacement?

Fitbit needs to add a section to their app to manually record and track blood pressure with a timestamp.

From the CDC, "High blood pressure was a primary or contributing cause of death for more than 410,000 Americans in 2014—that's more than 1,100 deaths each day. High blood pressure costs the nation $48.6 billion each year."

Make it a manual entry for now and let other developers use your API to enable pressure cuffs to automatically update these fields in the future. You currently allow me to track my weight, body fat, and calories; keep doing your part in helping people live healthier lives by adding this enhancement!

Been asking for this for over 2 years now!!   I'm using TactioHealth App currently to track BP and Glucose levels which interfaces nicely with my FitBit, but now I am being warned that this app will be going away (and all my data) after January 31, 2020.   Just wondering if anyone on this list know of an alternative to the TactioHealth App as FitBit does not seem interested in adding these features.

I’d phrase it differently.  They don’t care enough about the user community to be bothered to add a simple feature that many of us have been asking for for years.  They simply do not give a **ahem** about what users want.
Time to find a different tracker...,
