Fit bit:  Tell us to get in the wind so we can make the decision to abandon your products or do it already.  If there is some insurmountable problem in getting this done let us know so we can plan when.  Your non-communications for 3+ years is unacceptable and I know for myself, if I can't get a simple response to this question you don't want my business.  g

I own a blood pressure monitor and can take my own blood pressure readings. It would be great to be able to enter these into the Fitbit app on my mobile phone in the same way that I can manually enter the reading for my weight from the bathroom scales

Hi @FBMum. Thanks for sharing this suggestion about manually logging your blood pressure in the Fitbit app with us. This idea was already requested in the Feature Suggestions board, so I’ve moved your post here. This will help us to keep the forums organized and make sure the suggestions don't get confused, or split a popular vote. Hi @StarbuckATC, thanks for explaining why you would like to have the option to see a section to manually log blood pressure (& Glucose). I've moved it into a similar suggestion which has been updated as "Under Consideration". I hope to see you around.

Yes, we want not only BP, but a place to manually log Glucose as well!  g

Any movement on this? I am looking for the ability to record my blood glucose.

Is is possible to create user definable fields on the dashboard and in the app?  Create two or three where the use can call the field what ever they want and record their data.  This would add a lot of flexibility for the users to track data points without burdening the development team with dozens of field requests. Thanks.

Sure would be nice, been asking for this for about two years now! I don’t think FitBit is interested in doing this.

This would be awesome especially if it included a graph of time over data

I'm a type 2 diabetic and would LOVE to be able to log + track my blood glucose using the Fitbit app; this would help me to make stronger connections between how many carbs and sugars I'm intaking and how those figures affect my glucose levels throughout the day.

If Fitbit could make this happen, I'd be able to use the app for keeping track of my nutrition, macros (specifically carbs and sugars), sleep, feminine health, AND blood glucose, which would also mean I could delete 2-3 apps off my phone; heck, I might even trade in my Flex 2 and upgrade to a Charge 4 or Versa 3.

@MissKitsu I've been asking for a few years now.  FitBit really does not seem interested in doing this.   Sorry to be bearer of bad news..

Fitbit could just allow users to create custom items to track in this way fitbit don't have to create specific one for each biometric user requests.

So basically user create a new item they wish to manually track and label it whatever they want (blood pressure, height, nose length, no of eye lashes, number of teeth and etc) under that they can also specific/label other variables (systolic, dystolic, milimeter, count,).

Job done now you can leave it to the end user to create whatever biometric they want to track.

Jolly good idea that has been suggested before and could save lives

I can't say any more in case my account is suspended.

Spiyda,

Sorry if was suggested before I didn't read through all the 20 pages of this thread lol.

Actually even a simple note item(panel) can be created where user can enter whatever they want. To be able to note down what I did for the day. This will be useful when looking back at our historical data/scores.

Since they already have food and water it is just as simple as allowing us rename those to whatever we want. I also would like to track supplement/medicines I am taking as well.

Anyway based on the comments I think fitbit is not interested, I am just going to explore apps of other fitness tracker maybe switch to a another tracker/watch when I upgrade next. I should have spent more time researching the app/software side before purchase. Any suggestions will be great.

My problem is that fitbit produce some clever software that caters to the shiny, I must have it, millenial, but with a very simple addition they could have what would still be a non-medical device ( so wouldn't fall foul of any legislation) that could actually save lives and improve the quality of life of others.

All we are talking about is the abitilty to have a user defined data input that can be graphed in the same way as, for example, the water input, but with user defined title, and autoscaling graphing.

A single input would be good, multiple inputs would be better.

The change to the software would be minimal but the change to some peoples lives would be massive.

I already have a business that takes up 24/7, I could take time out and delve in the SDK to build something to do the job, but it wouldn't be as good as a core addition to the app.

I apologise to the admin who took off my previous two posts, but I do feel strongly about this. I took time out of my busy schedule to take an emergency first responder course to help other people, not myself. Adding this functionality would help other people as well as make the product more saleable, I just don't get it.

I think it is inexcusable that a Fitbit can record an ECG, monitor stress, and monitor your SpO2, but the app can't track something as important as your blood pressure.  You added a glucose tile.  Blood pressure is long overdue.

Hi everybody, thank you for your feedback. We hope to have news soon!

I would very much appreciate a way to log my blood pressure and include it on the reports.

My Dr has asked me to send him a monthly report for activity, food, weight, heart rate, etc,  and it would be great it have it all in one place.

Thank you

Please add (back) the ability to monitor bloody pressure. I upgraded from a budget ($20) smart tracker that had this ability, as well as oxygen levels.
