I could really use this feature as I suffer from high blood pressure! Please could you just let me know when this feature is ready? Thanks

Hi Jack2135, my only connection with Fitbit is as a customer and I need the ability to enter BP manually into the app for the same reason you do. If fitbit don't do anything to help us we will either develop into a High Pressure Pressure group or more likely ex customers. Regards.

Omron are bringing a tracker out in a few months time with BP function, but it is expensive - over £350!
However the BP function should be accurate as Omron are the market leaders in medical BP machines. The cheaper trackers with BP function are useless!

Fitbit don’t seem to be bothering to bring a BP tracker out, Omron are introducing a tracker with BP function out in a few months time, but it is e pensive at over £350, the cheAper trackers with Bp fa I lit hard useless. Omrons should be accurate as they are the market leaders is medical Bp machines, unfortunately I can’t afford that price.

Much less expensive trackers have blood pressure monitors. I upgraded thinking I would get more features—not the case. Blood pressure monitoring important especially for older group like myself - over 70. Please update software to include this MOST important feature.

Thank you

I think that fitbit used to have this feature and I think it has been raised before. Would be great to have this as an option on the dashboard. Even a notes feature where you could log it in would be better than nothing?

Yes indeed! I was quite surprised as well as disappointed that it was not a feature in that it is available on far less expensive products.

Of course it would be great to automaticly measure blood pressure, but it would be very good already to just have the option to input the data myself. Likewise my weight. With such an option I will have all of my health data into the Fitbit App. Now I have to use Apple's Health app to register my blood pressure. Since you already have such an option for weight, why not already built it for blood pressure too?

I hope you will consider this.

Yep...they used to have the option to manually enter BP reading...then they
took it away....added all kinds of features...and still adding all kinds of
features...but claim they can't add the feature back

I would definitely appreciate being able to record my blood pressure info into the app.
Preferably automatically, either from a Fitbit device but else from a 3rd party device.
If not, at least writing the blood pressure info manually into the app.

At this time I am keeping my blood pressure data in an Excel sheet, but keeping it with my other (Fitbit) health data would be preferable.

I suffer with high blood pressure.   I am on medication for this daily.  Sometimes its hard to know whet it goes high or drops really low.  If there was an app for this, it would help me more easily to monitor.  Even better, would be to take my heart bpm, that is monitored on my fitbit charge 2, enter it on the blood pressure monitor app, which would then give me a blood pressure reading.

I had a cheaper fitness tracker with blood pressure function bought me for Christmas- the BP was far from accurate - chatting with a Doctor whilst in Hospital a few weeks ago he said he really didn’t see how they could be anywhere near accurate - better to get a wrist blood pressure monitor they are far more accurate with having a cuff, even for a decent make like Omron are reasonably priced, some of them do record the reading for about 100 readings. Admittedly they can’t worn all the time but are certainly quite portable.

I agree, but all I want on Fitbit is a way of manually recording my blood pressure so I can log everything in the same place

I think the ability to monitor and track your blood pressure would be a great addition to what the fitbit can do and I just read that the latest Samsung Galaxy Watch Active has comes with this ability.

It would be great to have Fitbit track blood glucose and ketone levels along with fasts. I know that there are thousands of others who would like these items tracked. Currently, Keto-Mojo is the only app I can find that tracks glucose and ketones. However, you have to buy an extra Bluetooth device to have that ability..

I agree with the idea. However note that the latest Samsung Galaxy Watch Active use an integration with My BP Lab app (https://mybplab.com/), to provide the Blood Pressure. So as I understand it, My BP Lab app is the one that connects to Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 'sensors' to to take the measurement.

I would say instead of implementing the BP functionality from scratch, a FitBit <-> My BP Lab integration would be sufficient enough.

There are several trackers on the market with ability to measure blood pressure, however they are not accurate, a Dr has actually told me that he can’t see how they can be at all accurate, a cuff is needed. Omron are bringing a watch out with an integrated cuff, it seems quite bulky and is expensive.

Any movement on this request?  I think this would be hugely helpful for those of us wanting to track on one app.

Great that is under consideration, I have voted for it, whilst you develop something whizzy as a stop gap can we have the old manual entry system reintroduced?

Please, please, please add this simple feature of being able to TRACK your blood pressure.  I don't need the watch to take it, NOR do I want my watch to take it, but I REALLY want to be able to log and track it in my FitBit app.  I currently have to log this information in my Samsung Health app and then everything else in my FitBit.  I would REALLY like to be able to delete my Samsung Health app since I no longer wear the Gear, but I can't because this is where I MUST log my BP.  Seems really silly that this can't be tracked just as your weight and water can be.  All I want is to be able to add it manually so it is one less app I have to visit in the morning.  I'm surprised that FitBit doesn't have this ability already.   The reason I switched back to  the FitBit Versa, from my Samsung Gear, is because FitBit's platform and interface is just so much more user friendly and useful....but, Samsung Health has you beat here.  Please make this feature available and QUICKLY.
