Was shocked when I bought this and found out that I could not track something as fundamental as BP. I am very disappointed and cannot recommend this device to others. Will do my best to warn others to not make the same mistake. Bought two of these (for my wife and me) and wish I would have done more research before pulling the trigger. Fitbit reps not responding to this message string is shameful.
Hi there , Would like to request a feature. To be able to manually enter blood glucose level (bgl) readings in to the app. Would suit many diabetics and add a great feature to an already awesome app.
Blood pressure monitoring is very important! Please bring this feature back and consider allowing the application to interface with well known BP monitors such as withings
I love my Charge HR but please add a feature to track blood pressure! Somewhere, anywhere! Even if it isn't available to see on my Dashboard, that's ok. I don't mind manually logging my bp stats somewhere else within the app, even if it was just on my PC here. It makes absolutely no sense not to be able to track bp, which is an even more important stat than heart rate, diet, sleep etc. And please don't say the Fitbit isn't a medical device. We're just talking about trackiing a simple stat here. You have a wonderful product otherwise. I think I need to check my bp after writing this...
Moderator edit: Added labels and removed all caps.
As a new Fitbit person I would love to have this option as well.
I just had a heart attack on April 1st and at this point any tool is a good tool for me to have.
Changes are a new norm for me now and I need to be able to journal some of those changes and it would help to have it were I am tracking most of the other changes, which is now here on Fitbit!
So glad my Son suggested I get a fitbit and it is making a difference for me already in the last 3 days!
This used to be a tab in the Log section of the dashboard. I'm not sure why they changed it. You just used it as a place to enter in your data, but I'm sure that would still be useful for some people.
ahh....I misunderstood the question....I thought the OP wanted the Fitbit Charge HR to actually track his BP.... it would be easy to add the log part to the app for manual tracking
It would be even cooler if the Fitbit app could import data from a Bluetooth enabled blood pressure monitor, like the Omron that I own. Or maybe Fitbit itself could make one. I don't see how one of the HR trackers could read blood pressure with any sort of accuracy.
Hi @kllnmac thank you for sharing this idea with us! I think this could help us to reduce the sugar and fat consumption and try to aim to an specific target to keep your goal.
Any other ideas or requests you might have, feel free to share them or vote for them in case they have already been posted in this board.
This should be a simple log feature. It is rather stupid to remove features specificaly applicable to general health and fitness for a 'health and fitness device and app" people who dont want to use glucose and BP logging do not have to, but it should be brought back. I thought FITBIT wanted to be the Benchmark that other fitness trackers aspired to . If you keep slicing your features down , you will be like all the rest . Is thats FITBIT's asperation ,to be good enough? because when I bought myself and my wife a fitbit charge HR , it was an easy choice because I thought fitbit was the best. When it becomes just another tracker like all the rest , the choice will be a little more difficult and the likelyhood I continue with the same brand deminishies.
Why isn't there a place for sugar in "Daily Totals" as well as a column for sugar under meals in the "Food Log", seems like there a place and/or a column for everything else. Also, on the dashboard I'd like to have kcal, proteins, carbs, sugars & fats all compressed into one tile, if that's ok.
Please bring back this feature!!! I feel that it is essential that you be able to add note to each day so you can track specifics such as if you started a new diet...or you engaged in a sporting event. So if the numbers are considerably off you could go and look at your notes.
