It would be very useful to be able to see the blood oxygen saturation and temperature at any time of the day, not just when we sleep. I would also like to be able to see it with any clock format.
Hi @Mercuso, and thanks for taking the time to share this suggestion about having the option to see oxygen saturation and temperature with any clock face. We rely on feedback like yours to help us develop products and features that we know our community wants to see. If this suggestion receives votes from other customers and gains popularity, it will be shared internally with various teams at Fitbit. It should show the actual value, not just the variation. It clearly has the data, so I don't understand why it can't show the actual values. I would also like it to be able to measure this statistic throughout the day.
Hi @leahrachel14, thanks for explaining why you would like to have the option to see oxygen saturation at any time during the day. Thanks for sharing your feedback. I've moved it into a similar request. A lot of users are asking for this option, I hope we receive updates soon.
oxygen saturation monitoring with time would be helpful not only during sleep, but during exercise as well. Im my Versa 3 the desplay only gives an average of oxygen saturation for the whole night. Just one point that is the average reading. This is silly. It would be far more usedul to be able to display oxygen saturation on the same graph as different stages are displayed during the night. Since you track oxygen saturation, it would be easy to display the values along with the rest of the sleep data in a graph form, not just a single averaged point. This type of information might be very helpful for people with sleep apnea (there are thousands of people with this condition). In sleep apnea, oxygen saturation drops when the patient stops breathing for short periods of time. It rises to normal levels when the patient resumes breathing.
The same kind of information would be helpful when you display excercise parameters as in running or biking. If you exercise without going into oxygen debt, your oxygen saturation remains in the normal range. Once you start pushing yourself to the point where you go into oxygen debt, oxygen saturation drops. In high performance athletes one way to improve your performance is to do interval training with periods of intense exercise followed by slower workouts. Monitoring oxygen saturation during slee, or during intense workouts would be an important addition to a Fitbit device. best regards, Denis
