See previous days' data across all tiles in mobile app

I like the layout of the new IOS app.  I wish that when I switch days to look at previous days' data that I could have ALL the tiles still change to the previous day's information.  Right now with the updated app only the daily goals change to the previous day's data and the calories in and calories out stay with today's current information.  This is not helpful to me if I am trying to quickly see how I did yesterday which I definitely do sometimes.

I also do not like the new format. I would like to see each day’s Information on the day. If The app shows my steps for each day, why does it default all the other tiles to only the most recent day’s information? That does not make sense at all. I would prefer the app Show the right stats for each day.

They are too lazy to change it

I agree. For as long as they have been doing this this should have been perfected.

I agree and would like for the Fitbit to make it possible to see historical data from the dashboard without having to go to another level.

I agree 100%. Please roll this update back!!! It makes absolutely no sense. Updates are supposed to increase functionality and enhance the user experience. This does the opposite.

I agree as well.  It was a loss of functionality 😣

yes please! fix this. it is RIDICULOUS for the tiles not to change with the date. Literally makes no sense.

I agree! I would love to be able to see my previous day at a glance on the dashboard.

I totally agree - I miss how it was before. Please change it back so we can see all data across all days when scrolling back to previous days. Thank you.

I too was disappointed to discover we can no longer see accurate historical data on our icons when scrolling back through the days. This seems a backward step. I do hope this decision is reversed soon.

We’ve been waiting YEARS to be prioritized!!!

And “Customer Service” does NOTHING!

Fix th freakin’ app, folks...

It is NOT a “feature” - it is BROKEN!

I've used Fitbits for years and this is the first time I've been so disappointed in their response. This should be an easy fix and it is ridiculous that it still hasn't been addressed. The app isn't very helpful if it requires several clicks to find the historical data. The whole point of the tiles is to see a quick snapshot of the information. This needs to be taken care of ASAP!

Totally agree! The tiles should all switch to the day showing.

If you go to the "under consideration" site, linked above, you will see that there are "only" 246 votes for this feature. I suggest that everyone who has posted here also go there and vote. And if you have friends, ask them to vote too, and your parents, kids, pets, etc. It appears that a tile tracking menstrual cycles and tracking for kids was way more important and were recently implemented.....really? Really?

So, I clicked on Like - but it decreased the count - apparently because I’d already liked it...  (I toggled it back, to increase the vote count again.)

But that female tracking tile and kids stuff (which I haven’t even seen) got into the latest release but FIXING a 2 year old BUG has still not been addressed is indicative of how “Customer Service” and FitBit User Community prioritization of features is handled...

This is a CRAP user interface that makes NO SENSE.

Really though - how many votes did the “Female” tile get?  A thousand? 10,000?  How many letters do we need to write?

There is no way that only 250 people have voted for this.  The comment string has THOUSANDS of complaints for this and it's been going on for a couple of years at least.  FitBit is rigging the system only showing 250 votes.

I agree - I find the first thread in June 2016.  Hundreds or thousands of complaints on this - I've lost track with over 2 years of comments.

It has been a very frustrating experience and yet I've only seen one response from them in this time frame (in January 2018).

LizFitbit - can you please respond with some type of feedback on this?

Pretty disappointed in the new layout. I was happy when previously you could view your stats just by using the arrows and see your history but now you have to click on the tiles to view history which in my opinion is not an improvement. It was better before and what is the point of having tiles that give you identical pages. Please bring back the previous version. I kept thinking it was a problem with my phone  would have been nice to have been informed that there was an update.

So the thread's been going on for close to two years, Fitbit throws out a tepid comment, it seems pretty clearly a mistake.  I'm going to start looking for an alternative.  I'm truly bummed.  I roll with other stuff - the times when I flick my wrist on the treadmill and there's no cardio readout, times when I'm walking but it says my pulse is 156, some of the silly messages when I like something.  But I feel like they know they made a mistake, are hearing about it, and letting it sit for an absurdly long period of time (or, more likely, have no intention of fixing it and are just hoping we'll forget).  I love the fact that I had been on a platform for this long (21 million steps!), but this is pretty shabby, sloppy, stupid.

I'm afraid if Fitbit can't offer a "firm commitment" to it's customers and provide a workable solution then I don't have a "firm commitment" to Fitbit either.  When my current device fails I'm buying an Apple Watch.  It works!

Fitbit decided over a year ago they were not going to do anything

Like I said earlier, vote with your wallet!

There's a lot of other devices and most of them will integrate with Apple
Health or Android whereas this crappy Fitbit app keeps getting worse. In my
house, we already have one Fitbit dying and we WILL definitely move over to
another platform because Fitbit really doesn't care once they have your
money.

Just have a look at Fitbit stock (down 40% over the last year) and you will
soon see that many others are abandoning Fitbit in droves!
