The new dashboard is not an improvement. The graphics are pedestrian, not sleeker. You removed the ability to review sleep stages, and for me, that feature alone made your product much better than the polar loop2 I had before. Nothing about the ‘better look’ is better. It seems as though the least you could have done is to have a ‘revert’ option. Like many, I presumed that given your track record, the new dashboard would be an improvement. I am sorry I switched, and disappointed in what seems like a ‘bait and switch,’ on the part of the developers. I suspect that this was a developer, not a user driven, change.
I don't like the new dashboard either. My main issue with it is not showing sleep stages, as SimZ21 suggested. My other issues are, in decreasing order of importance:
the icon for the heartbeat no longer changes according to what exercise zone you're in
the icon for weekly exercises is a circle instead of a polygon
it goes to a flashing congratulatory display every time I go back to a certain date. Once is enough.
the color has changed from a green I like to a blue I don't like
the activity wheel has changed from the dots to small arcs
I agree with you guys @EveArmstrong and @Oncehappyuser, I hate the new update but i said nothing... no clue why. The new update is less ‘for us’ and more for the developer
Totally agree. I bought my Fitbit after being so impressed by the app on my friends phones, and to see that my app is not as good is a big disappointment. I have seen a lot of similar comments about this issue too
