Show "all time" weight data as individual points rather than as yearly averages

The old weight graph showed all of your weight data along with the weight trend line. I have owned Fitbit products for years, and the only reason I haven't switched is because I like having the long term data. The new graph only displays the average of each year, which is essentially useless.

Totally agree. So sick of the erosion of features and replacement with stuff I don't use!

Exactly! The new way of showing the weight data is completely useless. The trendline was a very useful feature, please put it back. And the "all time" or yearly trends were very good, too. I don't even understand why would anyone have the idea to remove it? I can't imagine that the reason behind was the user satisfaction. At all.

Over the past week I've had to uninstall and reinstall the app on my Samsung S24 to bring back the horizonal lines in the weight graph.  Google seems to be destroying the app.  Maybe they are trying to push us to their Pixel watch.

What a disaster!  All the weight related features I use have been removed or redone so they are not functional.  For example, the Aria is not very accurate, so I normally take 3 weighing's, pick the middle one and delete the other two.  That used to take a few clicks.  It is way more complicated now.  Also, the primary function for me was tracking my week-to-week weight.  The weekly average is now gone so the app has become useless to me.

They forgot the basic principle - "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

Even worse!  I went to see how it looked on the Web dashboard only to discovered that that has been discontinued also!

Black Friday tomorrow.  I am shopping tor a new fitness watch!  And it won't be made by Fitbit or Google.

Totally agree!   I have continued using this app for the long term data and the trend line!   Bring back the old chart, I want to see every data point! Can't stand these new charts!

Like others have already said, since google has taken over Fitbit there hasn't been a single improvement that I have enjoyed. It just seems that it's bent on making you not want to continue with Fitbit at all. Super frustrating.

Same exact issue. The long term detailed data is the only reason I haven't swapped my Aria scale for a more accurate model from another brand. If the individual data points are no longer an option, there is nothing left to keep me using Fitbit products. I already stopped using my tracker because of the unecessary requirement for location and nearby device data. We really should have had some warning and a way to export our data before this change took place.

Lchristine ... Which scale did you switch to?  Do you like it?

This and the removal of the weight trend lines have significantly decreased the usefulness of the Fitbit app.

It seems like the company actively wants users to migrate to some other platform.

If these features are not restored we will be forced to abandon Fitbit.

This release is a serious downgrade in functionality.  Google seems to be actively trying to destroy the product.  When I replace it, it will not be with a Google product!

Agree, Please bring back the old weight data points and trend lines. That was one of the best features of the app! The new graph isn't very helpful 😞

Version 4.3 weight screen reengineering has resulted in a product with added complexity and less usefulness.

1. I don't use a connected scale. I enter my weight daily. Prior versions brought forward yesterday's weight and fat values allowing minor edits to today's values. Now I have to remember and type entire values each time.

2. Trend line is gone. I cannot think of any good reason for this. Can't tell you how many times I might have a day of increased weight during my weight loss program where that trend line helped provide reassurance and motivation to keep with it!

3. Background horizontal scale lines removed. I like to see my progress on a monthly or 3 month scale. The graph's solid white background provides no easy way to measure mid-period changes like the previous version's background scale lines.

When upgrading a software product version one should always try to make the impact on the end user as minimal as possible, including making new features disabled initially but optional through enabling a switch/flag in settings.

What the hell? This information is CRITICAL - you can't take it away without providing an option to make it accessible!!!

Averages are not the same as the individual data points. This interface does.not.even.make.sense.

I used to have Aria data since 2012, and it showed a huge weight loss in 2016 which I am comparing my current weight loss journey too - now I've LOST all of that data and comparison. This is a very bad decision.

Can I please get my data so I can graph my journey myself?

I hope you read these comments and respond to people.

I un-installed the app. Then reinstalled it. The trend lines and
horizontal lines came back. I don't know if I got an older version when I
reinstalled.

Uninstalling and re installing didn't work for me. Maybe you installed an older more useful version of the app.

Well...I'm back in the same boat! My app has again "updated" and I've lost
the trend line and horizontal lines for weight in all tabs.

Fully agree, having all the points and the trend line is why i use fitbit app instead my scale app!

100% agree. The new way of presenting  data (and actually losing data) is a big downgrade. Please revert or make the old view an option.

I feel like I lost a ton of hard work. I could see my daily progress and that was a big motivation. This is so disappointing.

The deletion of the trend line and weekly averages made me scream and not in happiness. This has completely wrecked the app. You need to bring it back or I'm done with Fitbit and I've had it for a long time!

I agree!

It's so frustrating! I've been tracking since 2017 myself and ONLY continued to log weight and cycle details because I liked the way it was displayed. Now... these sharp data points are horrendous to look at and statistically misleading.... why would they want to discourage us from getting to look back at our progress?

See which of these graphs are more pleasant to view and help understand the information.... I grew a baby in 2018 I wanna see the small details!

Please bring back the old weight data points and TREND LINES.   What ......did it offend someone?  someone thought it was offensive?  Its the only reason anyone would even consider removing this feature.  Some kind of woke BS.  Explain to me why this is even in need of review.

Wish I took a screenshot of my weight points before the update. A decade of weigh-ins minimized to 10 averages ☹️
