Show walks/runs in Kilometers/miles per hour, not just in pace.

I think it would have extra value to see your pace from walks/runs in Kilometers per hour (or miles per hour for that matter). At the moment you can only see your pace, which for a lot of people is an unknown/underused metric.

reaction of FitBit on my twitter

Hi Tom.
We know this is not the resolution you're looking for today. Please note that our team does review and read all suggestions that are submitted to the Feature Suggestions board. However, the number of new suggestions entered daily is pretty high. Therefore, there is no ETA on a resolution for this, there is no info when or if this will get implemented. We ensure you that our team is always searching for ways to improve the overall Fitbit experience.

I cant believe that Fitbit still haven't implemented speed ( km/hr) as well as pace.  I regard it as a major problem with my Ionic.  Wtf has pace got to do with snowboarding or mountain biking ?  There are apps that display speed correctly on the Ionic screen... but the data is corrupted back to pace in the fitbit app.  Sad that they cant get the basics right. If its not there in the next update i suspect ill be the owner of a Fenix 5 ....

Just want to add this to my last post, doesn't seem like FitBit is doing anything to fix this.
Now for three weeks I've been a very happy Garmin customer!

The only thing is left for us is going on social media with this, they don't like it but we are customers. Just go for it

I agree with all of the above. Negatively suprised that speed (km/h) is not a standard feature on Fitbit watch. How is this even possible?

Please please please
I’ve been asking for more than a year
I did the support chat room comment, gathered supporters etcetc
Please include SPEED as well as PACE
in your app
Other devices do it offering the option to select either. Apparently it’s a very easy fix
But the willingness on your side hasn’t been there
Pace numbers don’t mean anything to me or my companions, speed is obvious, user friendly and something we all relate to
I don’t know why this is proving so difficult.
But I value the support that I get using Fitbit in my daily life and it’s been very helpful
There just this one thing
So easily fixed
Please try to get someone to add SPEED into the app
Thanks
Chris

I was considering to buy a Fitbit Ionic. But without this 'feature' I will reconsidering my decision. Very dissaponting.

Hopefully Fitbit comes very quick with a update and fix this 'gap'.

Most exercises involve some sort of running so for example when I choose tennis as an exercise I don't get any information about sprints covered. It would be great if such exercises had the option to track speed, pace maximum avg. etc.

Same here, strange this feature is missing.

I agree also !! I have had MANY other smart and fitness watches that I use for running and they ALL predominately had the ability for me to choose SPEED as a field in my running screen. Took the whole joy out of purchasing my Ionic only to find out it didn't have this option. !! So when I run, I use another watch because of this.. it should be an easy addition to a firmware update, there just isn't enough people requesting it unfortunately , because that addition would make my Ionic PERFECT !

This feature MUST be added for you to remain a market competitor. The fact that the device is able to display pace means that it knows the speed and that both aren't included as options is quite confusing to me. The only reason I upgraded from my prior charge to this Charge 4 is because I mistakingly assumed I'd be able to see speed while on a walk/run. Please release this capability/update at your earliest convenience...you know it's embarrassing when an archaic Garmin has better capabilities than your new product.

As usual, act like you care about our feedback, then do nothing about it or close the topic as "not planned".  If this gets any legs I'll be shocked.

To do as suggested, however, I am taking the time to provide my feedback that yes, we want to see speed as an option...let the user choose speed or pace.  Pace doesn't mean a darn thing to me.

Yep, 100% support this.

If the software defaults to "pace" that's fine, but why not give the option to the user?

I also find this idea very important and useful. Could you please take a look at it?

The data and splits on walks/runs etc. only shows Pace. I need to be able to see my speed at a glance, and also in the exercise data when the session is completed.

Hi @wendyvo, thanks for explaining why you would like to have the option to see speed and pace on Fitbit exercises. Thanks for sharing your feedback. I've moved it into a similar request.  A lot of users are asking for this option, I hope we receive updates soon.
