Ski/snowboard tracking app

I would like to see an app that would track important metrics when I snowboard, such as the 'Trace' app.

Hey Fitbit admins; how many of your customers have to beg for this feature before you take action?  Your customers couldn’t be more clear; Please add skiing/snowboarding tracker to your app!

You already have the ability to track stairs and running, how hard can it be to add what has to be one of the most popular requested feature for years?  it already exists on several of your competitors’ devices.

Seriously, what is the hold up?  Release that s#** already and give the people what they’re asking for.  How much more clear feedback do you need?

Sincerely, a ton of people.

GPS tracking ski app to track your down hill elevation, speed, time. Be able to pause when going uphill (for when you are in the gondola) auto pause for when you are stopped. Voice command would be nice so you don't have to take off your ski gloves and find your phone out of your pocket. Show a map of what you completed that day. Tracking Alpine ski would be so helpful for people like me who only ski for activities

Hi @Bex.Reg, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback about having a GPS tracking ski app. This feature suggestion already exists so I’ve moved your post here to keep this board organized.

Hi @SurfingSARBoy   and commenters, thanks for sharing this suggestion. We’re excited to let you know that this Feature Suggestion has been developed by a third party developer, and can be downloaded from the Fitbit App Gallery available on Fitbit Smartwatches. You’ll find the Fitbit App Gallery by selecting your connected Smartwatch in the mobile app, choosing the ‘Apps’ tile and toggling to ‘All Apps’ at the top of the screen. You can then search third party apps by category and choose your favorite of the relevant options available. Happy exploring!

Please note that if you have feedback for the third party app, you can contact the developer directly by opening their app in the Fitbit App Gallery, finding their contact details (if they have shared them publicly) under ‘app details’ or ‘clock face details’. Thanks.

Hi - I have been using Ski Tracks and they have integration with Apple Watch and other smart watches, but unfortunately not with the FitBit.

Can you please work with them to developer a Ski Tracks app for my the Fitbit smart watches? I reached out to them first and they said that you were not interested... how disappointing! I hope it’s on your list of feature to develop soon.

STILL no way to track this?

I'm a new customer and very disappointed to learn this and then even more disappointed to learn this has been being asked for for many years and Fitbit has refused.

This would be a valuable app to add to the portfolio

Having a skiing app would be a valuable addition to your app portfolio, the current 3rd party skiing apps are very limited to watch models.
