Solar charge Fitbit

Solar charged watches have been around for a while now (I use to have a citizens watch) and I think solar charged Fitbit would be a great new product due to the fact while your charging it (wall charged) you miss out of a lot of steps (1-2 hours steps add up quickly)

many users of fitbit spend enough time outdoors with ample sun exposure on their fitbit such that:
- even if we had a small region on the watchface or wristband to capture the energy, it may be enough to regenerate some of the energy needed to keep the fitbit running (or extend battery life)

I could discuss this in more detail if needed

Fitbit needs an option to allow solar and indoor light power the fit bit and even store energy so charging doesn’t have to happen. It’s in on Incomvenience when you’re tracking sleep but have to take your FitBit off to charge and the battery life is limited for a watch.
