I would love to see the ability to have on demand SpO2 readings like Galaxy watches do. There are a lot of is that DO NOT wear watches to bed, so we never get readings. "During the day" readings or on demand readings would be awesome. If a cheap 20 dollar finger reader from Amazon can do it, why can't my $400 Pixel watch do it?
It's mind blowing to know that even low budget smartwatch and even sport band measure spo2 on demand and have spo2 graphs. We know that pw3 measure this data but for some reasons they ar hidden for the user.
If you dig in into fitbit app you can only check you sic! avarege spo2 from all the night which is disappointing.
And the sleep report? You get spo2 estimated variability?! WTF why we can't get normal spo2 graphs? Please tell me the reason?
The wheel seemed ike one of those inventions that seems so obvious, but maybe not to the people before it was actually invented. What I'm trying to say is, on demand SpO2 has been invented... Care to get things rolling along here, Fitbit or Google? Let's catch up! We can do it! My Pixel Watch 3 has been helping me track my weight loss journey and it's a pretty sweet watch! Pretty please!🥰🤪
As someone who typically has lower sp02 due to health issues, ability to track this in real time along with heart rate, or at least on demand would be amazing. If its not there because of battery drain concerns, ability to toggle it should be easy enough to implement.
I really want on demand and constant SpO2 readings available in the pixel watch 3. I am extremely disappointed that it's not standard. It is ridiculous that this is not a standard function on a device with an ECG monitor - it's obviously designed for people interested in their heart function. Please make this a priority in app development. As it's already a function of the pixel watch 3 sleep data collection, it can't be too hard or time consuming
I'm not sure how many people need to find this for you to consider it but would absolutely love for this to be a feature. Even if you have to opt in since it already has the capability it just seems to be a matter of turning it on/allowing us to turn it on
Just received my watch today - an upgrade from a Fitbit 6, & main reason was to get a watch that offered on demand SPo2 monitoring. So disappointed, surely it would be an easy fix?? I would be willing to be a tester & I'm sure others above would be willing to try it out. Please please sort it out!
We hope to provide the pixel watch equipped with blood oxygen detection with blood oxygen detection The pixel watch 2 is equipped with a blood oxygen detection light. I hope I can detect blood oxygen levels anytime and anywhere instead of only when I sleep.
Hi @lincolncisco. Thank you for your product feedback about enabling SpO2 on demand for all Google Pixel Watch series with us! We've found a similar request and merged yours with it. You can find it here. Please vote on the existing thread to help us track interest. To learn more about how Fitbit decides what product feedback is developed, visit our FAQs.
I agree with this, i mean i had this function all way back on my galaxy watch s4 classic which is like a 4 or 5 year old watch, and i can't do it on my brand new pixel watch 3 LTE?
Please give the Pixel Watch3 the ability to track spO2 or at least get on-demand readings! This should be a very basic function of the watch and NOT hidden behind a paywall or only accessible in the Fitbit app.
It's absence is puzzling as almost EVERY other competitive watch on the market (besides Fitbit) provides this. Even sub-$100 smart watches.
Additionally, I feel like the poor Fitbit app severely limited the functionality of the pixel 3 watch. The lack of spO2 and the poor usability of the Fitbit app are why I have advised dozens of friends and family members NOT to buy any Fitbit-limited devices but but Samsung, Apple, Garmin, OnePlus, or Amazfit instead.
I truly love the look and fit of the pixel 3 watch. I think that it is the best on the market in that respect. However, the Fitbit interface and paywall COMPLETELY ruin the experience.
