Stop Charge 4 GPS connection notifications

I am suffering from the problem of the GPS in the charge 4 dropping out. The issue I have is not the GPS dropout but how the charge deals with this by stopping the tracking of the exercise. It should be trying to reacquire the GPS signal not distracting me with warning messages.

I had this issue on a ten mile walk and the GPS disconnected at three miles and i didn't realise it would not try and reconnect.  The fitbit should try to reacquire GPS every say 5 minutes whilst in the "exercise" mode so that the whole walk is mapped, or have an option on the screen to try and reconnect.

The alternative seems to be to either keep the exercise going without the map, or start a new exercise which then looks like two exercises (a 3 mile and a 7 mile walk).   I guess another option might be to be able to combine two exercises.  So on the dashboard, click and combine exercise 1 and exercise 2 to make one long exercise.
