Sync Fitbit to personal database?

I am in the progress of developing my own personal fitness app. I was thinking instead of using the built in technology that comes with smartphones, that I might be able to have a fitbit sync to my own database server? Is this sort of thing available?

Hi @JustMeClinton, thanks for sharing this suggestion. We're always striving to enhance Fitbit products and services, and we appreciate all of the input we receive from our customers. We do not currently have plans to release this feature.
