Take/Make phone calls on Versa series

 I was wondering if you could add a feature where you can call somebody on the ionic. For instance, if someone is calling me on my phone, I can answer the call on my fit bit, and talk to them from my fit bit. That would be amazing if I could do that, or if you guys want to take it to the next level, you can make a contact list and I could choose somebody that I want to call from the ionic.  (Obviously, since the ionic does not have a Sim card, you would have to be connected to your phone.).  This feature is similar to the Apple Watch.

Perhaps instead of a function to call on your fitbit, maybe create an app on fitbit that allows you to start calls on your phone. So instead of having to take out your phone you can start the call on your fitbit

Why put a phone call notification without allowing us to answer the call? Put a mic so we can answer it. It’s like “here you go, someone is calling you! Ohhhh but , you can’t answer it though!” That’s sooo stupid! I am sure you’re created did think of putting a mic but you’re probably too stingy to do it. I won’t be buying another fit I thats for sure, so don’t try coming out with a new one x3 the cost! You should allow us to bring the watches we have already and you install it!  Then you’ll get more buyer and happier customers.

Hi, i am a customer. And i was wondering if you could add a text and call feature but keep the versa 2 look.

All i want to do and, I'm sure others can agree, is to text from the watch and call. Without your phone. And alexa should be able to do more but other than that its a really good product and keep up the goodwork.

I have the FitBit Versa 2 and it would be great for it to be able to make/take phone calls directly on the Versa 2 and not on the phone since it has a microphone and can make replies to msgs on WhatsApp and texts. Now I don't know if with an update it could be possible or with an app that you can activate it on your phone and the Versa 2.

I also noticed that there is no Versa 2 on the choosing a label options when I made this post so if there is one it doesn't show so I put it on the Versa label.

Please develope a watch capable of making and receiving phone calls. Even if not near the phone would awesome! Also a way to respond d ti text with scribble screen or keyboard. I am an android gal and love fitbit. But am highly disappointed in how far behind fitbit is.

I totally agree. I no longer use my Fitbit since talk to text for replies is a must for me in a smart watch & so is answering and holding a conversation from the watch. What good does answering my phone from my watch if I then have to get my phone out in order to talk. For the price of a Fitbit it needs WAY more features. Then Fitbit decided to start charging $10 per month to use the feature I used the most which is tracking your heartbeat while sleeping. It still shows Sleep stages but not detailed info with the heart rates... To top that off, they finally make Versa2 with microphone and speaker but yet you still can't talk to text,  reply with actual responses instead of quick/preselected messages,  or talk on your watch when someone calls. Talk about being disappointed! They say put it on this site but then nothing changes from what I see. They probably have the watch built already but wanted to release the Versa2 so everyone buys that,  then they'll drive up sales.

I would love to be able to answer/make calls from my Fitbit! I am thinking about buying Samsung Watch, but have been holding off, hoping Fitbit would put one out . I wish it'd be possible to combine all the amazing features that Fitbit has (and Samsung Watch lacks) with just one feature to take calls (that Samsung Watch has)

I have the versa 2 and would love to accept calls and talk through watch. I know the versa has a microphone so not sure what else would be needed to get the done. Please add this feature!!!

It doesn't make sense to me that the Fitbit has a speaker, it's not functional if you can answer on the Fitbit, but have to get your phone anyway. One of the reasons I had bought this was because I thought you could do that.

My suggestion is that the community who own the versa 3 will be able to initiate phone calls. I dont think we only need the answer button , but a new option to initiate a call , or tell alexa to call someone. Like this it would be great because we dont need to use the phone every time to call someone.

I think this is a great idea !  I asked Google assistant to make a call and it did but it went to my phone, not the watch which is kinda ridiculous.  Hopefully this feature can be added soon.
