More of a suggestion to Fitbit than a question - it'd be really nice to have a tile that helps track menstrual cycles since they're so tied to a woman's body, weight, food cravings, mood etc.
It would be really nice to find a more inclusive health tracker. One that logs food, activity, menstrual cycle, and BMs. Because I think I see some trends but it's hard to tell looking across multiple apps.
This thread is over 3 years old and Fitbit still hasn't added one of the most basic indicators of women's health. Vote with your feet ladies - I bought an Apple watch and am loving the integrations with Clue, etc. It was more expensive than a Fitbit but at least it has everything in one place.
I agree- I would like to be able to see a data trend over time that plots activity (steps, heart rate), weight, period present or not to visually see the correlations.
It's ridiculous that we're still asking for this, and still no sign of movement from fitbit. And yes, when it comes time to update my tracker, I'll be moving to something which actually works for women.
Twitter support suggested I leave a(nother) comment to cast a vote for this issue. Apparently six pages of comments over three years is not enough to be taken seriously?
Would love to see a period tracker tile, here's my vote. Again.

I honestly thought this was already a feature when I purchased my Fitbit Alta HR. I am disappointed that this hasn't been made a priority as it is an attractive and necessary feature to health trackers.
Keywords are amusing, but if really rather have the mod focus on the issue that a lot of women are abandoning or supplementing their platform because of the lack of period tracking, a better sign of a woman's health than counting how many glasses of water she drinks.
Seriously @FitMinx, they auto out **ahem**? **ahem** isn't a dirty word, but if that's the attitude they've got, that surely explains the lack of support.
The Fitbit Twitter account she'd me to provide feedback on the link they provided me (this thread).
So. Fitbit, your Twitter account is unhelpful. They simply provided new a link to a thread you apparently aren't watching, which I've already commented on multiple times because I found it myself. I went to Twitter to get more interaction and attention to the issue of traking women's menstrual cycle because this multi page and active thread has been ignored by officials for quite some time.
Women are interested in their health and fitness and their monthly cycle is both an indicator and a predictor of some short and long term health issues.
I'm starting to think that Fitbit engineers have no idea how to incorporate period cycle into their features/functions. Let's help them out! My ideas are; - Collaborate with Clue more and enable updating cycle data on Fitbit tile. - Using Clue's data, show where in the cycle the user is on the Fitbit tile.
It would be wonderful if exercise/sleep/HR function would be linked with the cycle and show which dates were the days I was on period, but it seems to be a lot of work. So I'm begging you. Please just collaborate with clue more. That's a good start. I don't even know how Clue x Fitbit collaboration is working now.
I find my resting heat rate fluctuates through the month, I would like to see how that maps to my cycle, would be great to do that in the Fitbit app please.
@knitonepugtwo The only "vote" that counts is "liking" or up voting the original post. However, by commenting it brings it up to the top of the pile so other people can see it and perhaps vote.
Can we please add this feature?! At least half of fitbit users have menstruation to deal with and it plays a big part in weight and energy for physical activity. It would be really great if they could acknowledge that female users exist and need specific features. I've seen this suggested as far back as 2015. Yo, fitbit developers, please add this! It's super important.
You have lots of users who have menstrual cycles. I know a dude is probably going to be the one looking at these suggestions and dismiss this, but please just think about your female users. We have weight fluctuations and energy changes that happen at different points in our cycles and it would be great if fitbit could help us track those so that we can more effectively monitor our health. I'd rather have all my health trackers on the same app. Lots of other users would probably like to get rid of their period tracking apps to have everything conveniently streamlined. Please add this feature. Your female users will thank you for it
