Track miles on pairs of shoes

There should be a way to track the amount of km's (miles) you performed during your exercises.

You should also implement a way to reset the counter increase you've swapped your shoes. Or have several counters for those who prepare a marathon and use two pairs of running shoes.

Thanks in advance!

Yes please. I currently do this with Runtastic but it would be great to ditch that for all Fitbit.

It would be useful to add a field in Fitbit app when a running or walking exercise is recorded to login the shoe I used and it keeps tracking of how many km/mile that the shoe was used for in order to replace it

I usually replace my running shoe after 500 km of running so its very useful to have Fitbit app helps in tracking this especially I already use it to track my running every time.

Still can't believe this hasn't been implemented yet.  Currently using Runkeeper which has this function.

I tried to tackle this problem for my first Fitbit app, so hopefully someone here finds it useful!

Link to unpublished app (still in review): https://gallery.fitbit.com/details/c87d4229-4e6e-488e-8c17-2ad4172b81ec

So far it lets you add up to 4 shoes, manually add / remove distance (increments of 1/4 of a mile), and will prompt you to sync up to the last hour of your distance traveled. I know it's a paid app, but I still want to improve on it before charging for it, so feel free to use the coupon, free-4-lyfe.

Looking to get more feedback and suggestions for improvement :]

Can an option be added to the exercise menu to track accumulated gear usage (ie Mileage on running shoes?).  And can this be applied to GPS and non-GPS workouts?  Maybe it could also be a block on the dashboard?  Similar to tracking how much water i drink, i would also like to track how many miles i have put on my running shoes with each run.

I need a native function within Fitbit app to maintain active/retired shoes, active pairs which I can assign to a specific workout. I sprint and run on different surfaces (trail, pavement, track) and use specific types of running shoes for each workout type. Assigning a specific pair of shoes to a workout automatically assigned miles to that pair.

When time to purchase new shoes/orthotics, the salesperson seems to always want to know the milage on your current running shoes/orthotics. Can FB add a feature so one could record this data?

As a runner and hiker, I would like the ability to log my shoes and boots to my Fitbit account, so I can track how many miles I have worn my gear for and set an expiration on when I should buy new gear.
