Traveling, sleep and time zones

I traveled from Asia to Europe and as soon as my watch adjusted to the new time zone, it lost track of the hours in between. I wish I knew whether or not I slept during the flight and for how long exactly. Important jetlag information that got lost!

That’s an interesting idea and could be useful, thanks for sharing this suggestion.

As I have said elsewhere on this forum, the problem seems to be that Fitbit is recording start/stop times (which in reality are absolute, not local) based on what's on the local clock (which depends on time zone).  Apparently this was a design mistake from the decision - a message on some thread from a moderator literally said it was "not expected" that the device would change time zones while you sleep!

It should be easy to fix though.  Just record sleep start & stop times using UTC (like GMT), the absolute / universal time code.
