Turn Off Step Counter, Focus on Heart Rate

With Fitbit focusing on steps as exercise, and the step counter being wildly inaccurate, my new Fitbit Alta HR is practically useless.

Every time I drive my motorbike, I'm clocking in "exercise", and currently the only "solution" is manually log every drive as Driving. I drive 4-5 times per day, and don't have time to log all day.

The simple solution would be a function to let you chose to only track high heart rates as exercise. That would fix everything.

Until this feature is implemented, I'm sorry to say Fitbit Alta HR is a totally useless product.

I own a Charge 3 and it counts clapping/hands movement as steps which is obviously a bug of the product.

Hi @Cretan1986, nice suggestion. You can find a lot of information about Fitbit accuracy here. But I think that having that option, it'd be great! Thanks for sharing.
