Turn off Friend Requests to avoid romantic requests

What would be really great is to be able to opt out of receiving Friend Requests. Lately there have been a lot of people seeming to use this feature to initiate romantic connection or for reasons other than health and fitness and a lot of others have commented that they too find this frustrating. Is this possible?

Hi @Hward8892, thanks for requesting to have an option to turn off friend requests. I've moved it into a similar request. I think that a lot of users would like to have this option on their Fitbit devices. You can learn more about how Fitbit decides what suggestions get released in our FAQs.

 

Remember you can report Fitbit users if you see something that you think isn't appropriate for our community.
