The ability of the Fitbit to detect different depths of sleep could be used to trigger a nearby wiress Mp3 player to gently play motivational messages during particular sleep phases.
Deep sleep can be compared to a hypnotic state - and it is well known, that hypnosis can very much positively influence our behaviours (whilst the mind is still intact and can dismiss "improper" / negative messages, that are incongruent with one's values etc. - so, it would not be possible to "brain wash" people into something there would normally not do!).
It could be a great add-on to achieve maximum success from using the Fitbit!
